Donald Trump unveiled a new visual campaign theme in Miami on Friday – a mashup of the Broadway musical 'Les Misérables' and an epithet Hillary Clinton leveled at his supporters one week ago.
He took the stage, introduced by former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, as the 'Les Mis' anthem 'Do You Hear the People Sing' blasted through loudspeakers.
The video screen behind the podium flashed to an artistic rendering of 'Les Deplorables' – pilfered from Reddit – complete with USA and 'Trump' flags replacing the French colors, and a bald eagle soaring over the revolutionary scene.
'Welcome to all of you deplorables!' Trump boomed as thousands screamed 'Trump! Trump! Trump!' and 'We love you!'

Les Deplorables! Best moment of the campaign so far. SUPERB THEATER . Must irk/kill the Liberals because they thought THEY were on the side of the poor and the downtrodden, Les Miserables, and suddenly, flip flop, they are with the evil Javert/Hillary. Enjoying this immensely.
If he has a musical composition license from a performing rights organization (PRO) such as ASCAP, BMI, and SESAC, they can complain all they want and he can still use it. The license can be obtained by either the campaign or the venue (e.g., hotel, restaurant, stadium). Venues usually pay periodic licenses to cover any performances of all the songs in a PRO’s catalog. So, if the campaign didn't have a license, but the venue had a license - and this song was in their catalog - he is free to use it.
Our local talk radio guy was reading the “you might be deplorable if you . . . “
have a drivers license, social security card and passport all in the same name . . .

WOW! I did not know the lyrics to “Hear the People Sing”. It could not be better if someone had written it specifically for the campaign.
Lol, underestimating the genius of this man has been his key to success all aong. People try to put him in that amateur box, like he doesn’t know what he’s doing - he knows and he’s got the best of the best guiding him. It’s just beautiful. Thank you, Lord God Almighty.
