As I see it the working man and woman has 2 jobs when they have children. People on welfare and Social Security have none. Workers should be our first priority. Takers come second.
Big picture folks. Let's win the WH first, then we can debate and pressure our Congresscritters to modify or block this.

Thanks for posting.
I dont like progressive taxes of any kind.
What did the people making 250k or more do to deserve not getting it? Go to school and work hard?
It is what it is.
Small programs that won’t cost much and will provide some benefits to working families with children.
Long term we’d benefit from fewer special breaks in the tax code and lower tax rates for everyone, but ... This is the price of winning elections
I know this isn’t conservative as we’d all define it. It is family friendly and rewards workers rather than layabouts. And it’s going to help win. If we don’t win none of it matters. Even Burke woukd tell us that.
Repeal the 16th.
YOU HAVE HILLARY ON THE ROPES FREAKING FINISH HER OFF ALREADY !!!!
Yeah — We’re all Democrats now.
He needs the woman vote to win.
It’s not a bad thing and it brings in more younger women.
As others above said, he has to win - and this is likely what it will take.
Yes, he has Hillary on the edge and he’s pushing her over now. He’s a winner and will do what it takes and this IS what it takes.
Thanks for posting. They propose that most of this plan would be paid for by growth. Not much detail on that, but says growth will come from tax reform, better trade deals and immigration reform.
Also says easing regulations on child care will help cost, which I agree with.
Do not agree with Trump on this at all.
An economy that is unfettered will allow many more families to live more comfortably on one income, too. And, to be sure, divorce will surely be reduced when working people ....or self employed people....don’t lose half of income to taxes and regulatory expenses. Happiness is keeping what you earn and ‘building that’.
Dependent Care Savings Accounts
Anyone can put in $ 2,000 a year for dependent care.
If a poor person puts $ 1,000 in the government will match $ 500.
A poor person can use his Earned Income Tax Credit for the $ 1,000 contribution.
So the government gives a poor person $ 1,000. The person puts the money into this fund and the government matches its own contribution.
What a brilliant expansion of the welfare state.
Are there no prisons? Are there no workhouses?
A tool for winning. Appropriating the family-child care issiue from the Democrats the same way he appropriated the Republican party out from under Romney and Cruz. Brilliant!
So we’re back to the same old same old of offering people free stuff to buy their votes thing again.
When will Republicans learn they will never be able to outbid the Democrats/Socialists?
Answer: probably not until they lose a bunch of voters who will not vote for either socialists or socialist-lite.
When I was growing up as a child in the sixties and early seventies we had an elderly housekeeper. She was paid to keep the house, prepare the meals, and provide discipline if needed. Unfortunately, the gooberment saw the need to compel my mom and dad to pay FICA, un-employment, social security, state and other taxes on her employment. This caused my mom and dad to release her from our home because it became too expensive. It was sad to see her go for she was with us for 16 years.
If the income of home care employees could be exempted from this tax burden more and more mature adults could be “employed” to help with families.
It is a win win for the home care person and the families of the United States of America.
