You appear to conflate the failure to gush over Rush with hating him.
Rush has one of the largest media platforms in the country.
Some of his listeners are annoyed with him for wasting this resource to talk about trivia. They don’t want the NFL Apple Golf Cigar channel.

The people who are complaining about Rush have been here every day for years. They are fans. Other fans have drifted away, sadly.
We simply think that he is not promoting Trump the way he should be. This is the most important election in a generation and he should be supporting Trump and not talking more about Apple products. That’s our point of view; we are allowed to express it. We also suspect he’s carrying a torch for Cruz - the reason he’s so uninterested in talking about Trump.
I’ll be listening to Rush today, tomorrow and for the next four years. (I think that’s the contract he signed.) I like him, I admire him, but am deeply perplexed by not his strongly advocating for the R nominee.

lol. Don’t let it bother you. He’s a hero in their eyes and it annoys them greatly when we treat him as a lesser deity. They may never be willing to see him as truly mortal.
The only thing that gets me is when they claim I’m misrepresenting what he says. I don’t. I listen clearly to him - as you can see with my remarks about Chavez.

Some of us were regulars for a decade or more. I just had had enough. We are in a fight for this country, and I want to at least listen to a fighter. I just checked in to see what you and Pelham and a couple others had to say. No nasty comments here.

Ok; maybe you should repost it to the right person.
He never denied that the show is about him and what he likes and wants to talk about. I have no problem with the temporary diversions and I’ve been listening since 1988. These diversions account for a very small percentage of the air time.
But there is no one on the air who articulates conservatism and truth better than he does. And obviously, the Left still believes he’s a threat regardless of what the Rush haters here think. He’s the focus of their ire- not Hannity, or O’Reilly, or Savage, or the rest.
If there’s any better, who are they? I’d like to give them a listen.
