My guess is that Rush is totally disinterested in this election, because he has had no ability to influence it in any way.
I think a number of bigger conservative talk show hosts have learned, much to their chagrin, that a very large number of people ain’t listening to their priceless advice anymore.

Considering that the last conservative President, Ronald Reagan, was elected well before the Conservative Talk Show Entertainment Complex invented itself I’d say that their influence hasn’t been worth much ever. Except maybe to the Bush GOP establishment wing that most of them have served loyally.
For the last few years, it's obvious his passions go like this:
1. NFL
2. Apple gadgets and all things tech
3. Golf
4. Politics
Anyone who listens to Rush every day cannot deny this.
