At 8 PM Eastern time tonight a so-called Commander-In-Chief Forum will be on NBC. The event will be hosted by the Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America.
Hillary and The Donald will be answering national security questions (the questions will be from the audience, I'm told).
auer pointed out trump had said he and a plan. If that is true then he was scrambling to merge his plan with whatever the generals came up with. That was not his finest answer.
Just finished watching the “angry-bull-dyke” vs. The REAL Commander In Chief.....she’s confusing anger with “appearing Presidential”........
Doesn’t matter. “Normal” viewers can actually tell the difference between stilted, rehearsed mumbo-jumbo and organic back-and-forth.
Kabar-this was no different from any other kind of interview Trump has faced by the enemedia.
To me, Trump came off as measured and calm, despite being interrupted and talked down to by Lauer.
Trump was in an essentially hostile environment with Lauer and the audience coordinating their questions and answers. Nothing new here. Nothing will “stick” because the public already knows what the drivebys are doing.
The audience questioners for Trump did NOT seem like a cross section of the military. Bizarre questions about rape and suicide, one by a woman who served stateside yet they said she has PTSD... black guy said his daughter would not join up because of all the rapes...
Russia told us all about the Tsarnarev (spelling?) brothers before the Boston Marathon attack. The Obama Administration ignored the intel.
I disagree.....
.....he more than held his own!
She has that annoying habit of jabbing her finger at whomever she is addressing.
One of the Trump questions was from David Gest’s (RIP) nephew, who apparently was in Special Forces? It was bizarre
It made perfect sense. He has his ideas . He wants to see theirs. Nothing hard about that at all.
The objective was to make Trump look like being unfit and unprepared to be CIC. We will see how the MSM portrays it all.
I hope you are right. There is no doubt that this was a hit job. We will see how it impacts Trump’s surge in the polls.
I have no doubt.....no doubt .....she was heavily medicated......
Hillary does not look as good as this picture in real life.
“Trump didn’t do too well with the “undocumented immigrant” entering the military.”
Trump did just fine with it. There has been a military program like that around for years. The ones I have been familiar with are Phillipino’s. After their military service they got citizenship.
“No doubt Trump was nervous”
I disagree. IMHO Trump came across as calm, cool and collected. I think he did quite well.
“auer pointed out trump had said he and a plan. If that is true then he was scrambling to merge his plan with whatever the generals came up with. That was not his finest answer.”
I disagree. He has been talking to “his” Generals and has an overall strategy on how to whip ISIS’s @ss. Of course he wants to confer with the Generals in the field first.
The VA issue would never have been a campaign issue without Trump bringing it up early on in the campaign. He didn't have to address his plan on ISIS except to stick with his speech on national security.
I thought it was ridiculous for Lauer to try to crucify Trump on his position on the Iraq war when he was just a private citizen. Hillary voted for it. And she was privy to all the intelligence and information.
Again, it was a hit job. Lauer was a member of the Clinton Foundation supporters. He is a partisan.
Snarky comments about Trump from you. Constantly
