The Dallas Morning News on Wednesday endorsed Hillary Clinton, backing a Democratic presidential hopeful for the first time since FDR.
“There is only one serious candidate on the presidential ballot in November: We recommend Hillary Clinton,” the paper’s editorial board declared.
“We don’t come to this decision easily. This newspaper has not recommended a Democrat for this nation’s highest since before World War II – if you’re counting, that’s more than 75 years and nearly 20 elections.”
The newspaper touted Clinton’s government experience and said she’s demonstrated an ability to work with Republicans.
“Resume vs. resume, judgment vs. judgment, this election is no contest,” the paper said of Clinton in comparison to GOP nominee Donald Trump.

Not entirely accurate. The Dallas Morning News endorsed Greg Abbott over Wendy Davis.
They did endorse Davis in the Democratic primary though.

Local talk show host Mark Davis had a caller this AM. She was on hold for 45 minutes to cancel her Dallas Morning News subscription and when she asked the person on the phone if a lot of people were cancelling subscriptions ... person paused and told her yes.

I was at the Texas State fair a couple of years ago. The wife and I walked past the Dallas Morning News table.
“Sir, would you like a free subscription to the Dallas Morning News?”
“I don’t have a pet bird, why would I need cage liner?”
My wife was elbowing me to stop harassing the staff.

Actually, the decision is very easy, Donald Trump. It is amazing that the newspaper has the stupidity to claim that Hillary Clinton has credible and responsible government experience.
Other than holding office and enriching herself, she has NO meaningful experience or accomplishments.
That newspaper needs to get its information from places other than CNN!
After 75 years and nearly 20 elections, the newspaper certainly has shown how dumbed down it has become!
The Dallas Boring Snooze’s journey to the dark side is now complete. It has been veering left for years. Subscription rates are plummeting. They are irrelevant.
