Mmmmm...Big Boy’s fresh strawberry pie! One of my best memories of when we lived in Georgia. We don’t have them here and never did. sigh

Lucky you! We’re still waiting for those nice autumn temps. Been hot but the humidity hasn’t been too bad. That’s going to change the next few days, though, and it’ll be stifling again.
But it can’t last forever. Just hope we get some autumn this year and don’t go from summer to winter.

Had to make a run to the vet (40 mile round trip) to get a couple of prescriptions filled for two cats. At least it was a pretty day for a drive.

The beans are through and turning yellow now. We did get 5 inches of rain a couple of weeks ago just in time to plump the beans up a little more. Should be a decent yield considering how dry it was all summer.

Kittehs are behaving lately (wattsupwiththat????) and we’re enjoying the calm. LOL! We appear to have a feral taking up residence here and I put food out for it. One of these days I’ll have it so tame, no one will believe it was ever wild. Been through it a few times over the years and the ferals turned into cream puffs.

Well that's impressive, the few experiences I've had with feral cats weren't good.

We only had a H HoBo Joe’s for a shot time , then it turned into a Denny’s

It can take a looooong time to do it but I’m patient. The key is getting the cat to stick around long enough to see me playing with the other cats outside. That lets it see I’m not gonna eat ‘em. LOL! It slowly loses its fear and eventually lets me touch it. Once it discovers how nice it is to be scratched, it’s hooked and the process speeds up immensely.

The vet calls me the Cat Whisperer. :-)

They’re highly overrated and pricey to boot. I’ll stick with the REAL fast food!

Heck, sometimes I think I'm the one who needs a psychiatrist! Who in their right mind would put up with so many cats? LOL! yeah, I know. I just slung the door wide open with that one, didn't I? :-)

CFA = Chic Fil A. Awesome dependable menu. Great Christian company and closed on Sunday. And during peach season, they have the BEST fresh peach shakes in the entire world!

They also hire tons of high school kids who are all well trained, very, very polite and speak English. Our local one hosts lots of fundraisers for special causes in our area.
