He’s probably not considered an anchor, which this list is supposed to be. Greta isn’t on it either. O’Reilly is kind of borderline as is Maddow.

I hate to say it, but Roger Ailes was clearly doing inappropriate things. No business offers a $20M settlement AND a public apology to make a nuisance suit go away. Carlson clearly had a damning case.

FOX News is imploding.

I don’t believe for one minute that any network news or cable news network is worth their collective subscription fees and advertising revenues.

There are too many similarities in overall objectives, narratives and little to no hard hitting or substantive news/investigations being done in American journalism anymore.

I don’t believe it’s at all due to cut budgets, bad journalists or incapable researchers. I believe it’s the fact that the media/political machine is so intertwined and so inbred that they just don’t want to publicize what is well known within their collective universes.

It’s going to take, yet another, startup news source to seriously make a dent in the establishment which, sadly, FOX News is now a part of.

I don’t see it coming from anyone save Breitbart (Which would likely skip the shrinking/dying cable model.) or Newsmax in the US. The Daily Mail in the UK seems capable of challenging the status quo but I don’t know enough about British media to say how likely they are at moving beyond print/digital reporting into video or in depth reporting.

I could write a book on the sad state of American journalism but then again, so could the majority of Americans.

It’s not he said/she said if Fox feels the need to offer a public apology.

A media company going out to cut off bad press by issuing an apology isn't necessarily evidence of culpability. It is evidence that they want this story to go away.

That said, the preponderance of the evidence indicates that Ailes is a no good louse and I judge him so, even if there are no legal repercussions for him.

Yes Ailes has had a rep for being a pig for years. Its not breaking my heart to see Murdoch have to bleed out a little. He and his two cubs are turning Fox into another CNN.

Sorry to see Greta leaving and for all places, MSNBC. She used to virtually have Trump on 24/7 which gave him some great exposure.

She was a bimbo, went on nonsensical tirades, once said that she was TRILLED that army/marines was going to integrate women and she saw firsthand that women were able to do everything the men did.

To me, she came off as a phenomenally naive, not that pretty, hick.

I had a boss one time that hated me and was always out to get me. I gave as good as I got but boy was it tiring. He told me one time he had set up a meeting for us with his supervisor (who was also a p&*ck) to discuss ‘things’. I took a tape recorder in and set it on the desk and said....you don’t mind if I record this do you? haha Meeting was very nice and went really well. lol
He also knew that if he said anything out of the way in the meeting that I would bring up something totally inappropriate he had said to me. ;)

Carlson taped Ailes more than once, so it is not he said she said.

“I would allow Ailes to harass me for 20 mil.”

“Churchill: “Madam, would you sleep with me for five million pounds?”

Socialite: “My goodness, Mr. Churchill... Well, I suppose... we would have to discuss terms, of course... “

Churchill: “Would you sleep with me for five pounds?”

Socialite: “Mr. Churchill, what kind of woman do you think I am?!”

Churchill: “Madam, we’ve already established that. Now we are haggling about the price”

Winston S. Churchill

I see a silver lining to this cloud. It might get Trump some exposure on MSNBC with a non-hostile host (many Bern-Outs are #NeverHillary remember).

I believe many in that audience would actually believe Trump’s message if he got a fair shake in presenting it.

Many dems just refuse to watch Fox no matter what, they’ve been told it’s a sin to even peruse that channel.

This just might bring Trump to a new audience. Not many mind you, not the hardcore types, but exposure is good if your a good speaker and I believe Trump is just that.

I was commenting upon a prior note regarding MSNBC. I notice on her site, she does not make any reference to that so it may have been speculation on someone’s part.
