Still coughing on the plane.
I can picture her going into full-blown coughing mode during the first debate. I watched both of her coughing spells, and she barely got more than one or two sentences out before they started. That’s not going to look good in front of about 100 MILLION people tuning in to watch the debate. I suspect that the Clinton campaign will now pull out all the stops to try and goad Trump into not showing up, or maybe Bill will have a “health crisis” which requires that the debate be cancelled.
We’re all being played.
Setting up the storyline for a “minor surgical procedure” that unfortunately prevents her from appearing live for the debates as well as press conferences since her vocal chords will be out of commission until early November.
Her campaign will gladly respond to queries from the press, and she will grace the most serious issues with a written response.
J/K? maybe a little.

Hopefully Trump has learned not to mention her coughing during the debate, but to act with genuine sympathy toward her uncontrollable coughing, or don’t mention it all. He will only shoot himself in the foot if he looks like he is being mean to her when she can’t control her coughing. I hope this has been beat into his head.

More likely everyone around her has told her not to go but she threw one of her famous tantrums believing the old grey mare still has one more race in her.

Same thing was happening to my mother in law. Some kind of throat or tongue cancer.
Or shine a flashing light or take a pic of her with a flash. That could cause problems.

That diagnosis was a combination of early onset subcortical vascular dementia and complex partial seizures. Between those two diagnoses I think every one of her symptoms is covered (except for the apparently lifelong cankles).
That would include seizure-related coughing fits (ictal or post-ictal coughing).
