Mexico Is Scheming Up A Way To Stop Trump's Wall

A Mexican lawmaker is pushing for a law that would make it extremely difficult for a president Donald Trump to erect a border wall without severe penalties.

The Hill reported: A Mexican lawmaker is pushing legislation that would let Mexico's government retaliate against a possible Donald Trump presidency, Reuters reported Friday.

The legislation is designed to counter any attempt from the U.S. government to make Mexico pay for a wall on the U.S.-Mexico border, and gives the Mexican Senate power to disavow international treaties if Mexican national and business interests are threatened by another state.

"In cases where the property/assets of [our] fellow citizens or companies are affected by a foreign government, as Donald Trump has threatened, the Mexican government should proportionally expropriate assets and properties of foreigners from that country on our territory," the preliminary summary of the proposal said.

Senator Armando Rios Piter from the center-left Party of the Democratic Revolution will present the legislation next week in hopes of sending a message to Trump about his immigration policy.

"At a time like this, it's vital for us to understand why this relationship benefits both. We're neighbors, we're friends, we're partners," Piter said. "[Trump is] putting [that] at risk."

Some of their politicians don’t appear to be much brighter than what we have, sad to say.

I thought Trump is building a wall on US soil.
Mehico can make up all sorts of laws on their side of the wall. We’ll enforce our own laws.

The Mexican elite know that if they don’t have an open border to the North as a safety valve for the downtrodden, it means revolution in Mexico.

Can you imagine 30-60 million Mexicans returning to Mexico from the US. What a wonderful sight for us. For Mexico, it likely means revolution.

"A bunch of US companies have companies and assets in Mexico"

If those companies are in mexico, then they are no longer US companies. They're mexican. Their products are made in mexico.

Pemex, the Mexican government owned national oil company, is going down the tubes. Too much graft to the connected caudillos and not enough reinvestment. I guarantee you the if both countries switched populations America would become a hellhole and Mexico would become a paradise.

President Trump should bill May-Hee-Co for the billions in costs for all the welfare absorbed by all the May-Hee-Cans who have flooded into the country with the support and assistance of the corrupt May-Hee-Can government.

President Trump should add in punitive charges for the victims of crimes committed by the May-Hee-Can invaders, for the costs of incarcerating them, and the indirect costs of supporting US citizens who have been rendered worthless because of the scourge of drugs that are pouring over the border, again with the support and assistance of the corrupt May-Hee-Can government.

President Trump should make it clear that May-Hee-Can illegal invaders will be treated exactly as May-Hee-Co treats any illegal invaders who show up in May-Hee-Co.

Until then, Sen-Yore Armando Rios Piter, you should just STFU.

“What do they have that we need?”

There are 1000’s of liberals that have swanky beach condos in Mexico. Mexico could confiscate those and re-sell them to Canadians or Russians
