Conservatives tricked into sharing bogus stories concocted by left
Almost all of us have been a victim of accidentally spreading fake news at one time. A trusted friend emails you a link to an article that is red meat for the conservative base; it sounds legitimate, and the name of the site even sounds official. You forward the article and post it on Facebook and Twitter — and then the backlash is embarrassing. Multiple people point out you’re wrong, and you feel like an idiot. But how were you to know, especially in this information overload, social media era? It has become normal to quickly skim articles and headlines.
It used to be The Onion was the only satire news site. And the site makes it very clear its news is satire. But within the last year, multiple sites (there is a list compiled here https://stream.org/left-busy-planting-fake-conservative-news-sites/) have sprung up that do not make it clear they are satire, if at all. They brazenly post fake news that isn’t even funny, like The Onion, but sounds like legitimate news.

Unfortunately there seems to be a smoldering vengeance-happy streak on FR. Some atrocity happened and the seemingly obvious culprit is the focus of an intemperate damnation-fest... until some twist of plot is revealed, and then the damners slink away in silence. Sometimes people don’t bother to read the silences.
Even on abcnews.com.co if you,read through any article, by the time you get to the end, with all gramatical errors and outrageous quotes, most readers should be able to identify it as satire.
If I see Snowden is dead or Hillary’s doctor got hit by a train posted again, I’m going to scream

That is their mobile site, totally legit, except for the regular fake news they churn out
abcnews.go.com is ABC NEWS. the go domain name is registered to the Disney Company, parent of ABC.
I think the fake URL you mean is abcnewsgo.com. I remember when that URL was used on FR. It fooled a lot of FReepers. abcnewsgo.com is no longer active.

I have long wished that FR could be a forum for more wisdom and less of stuff that sometimes seems to mirror, except in the other direction, what is going on in “liberal land.”
Too much of that stuff and “Bad company corrupts good morals” kicks in and I have to get away because my own mind is getting polluted.
Actually it is pretty much the first bastion of freedom. Slavery or servitude has pretty much been the norm until we came along and if we fall, it likely will never come again into this world.

Unfortunately, your own post above is very likely the very thing you decry in this thread. There are links in other posts about her fake rallies with links to others debunking the "fake" assertions. One video is posted by an alleged video expert who cites reasons why the images seen on the various cellphones cannot be relied upon to prove fakery, and the black line alleged to be bad photoshopping is nothing more than the low black curtain-fence separating the crowd (alleged crowd), from the stage/podium. I would put nothing past the clinton scum, but conservatives need better research and evidence than this before proclaiming to the world they have "...PROOF!!...at last..." the clintons are crooks and scum. This despite the fact some things are self evident to many of us, but cannot penetrate the heads of brain-dead liberals.
“Super Station 95” is another bogus “news” site to avoid like the plague.
