A retraction is not sufficient. An front-page apology is in order.

Settle out of court for $100,000. Take the money and give it to St. Jude’s Children hospital?

In their apology, Daily Mail stated that the article was intended to be about the rumors surrounding Melania’s past and the possible impact on Donald Trump’s presidential campaign
Wham!! Black eye for the lying DM. So much for their ‘intended rumors’ “BS story”.

I don’t believe it’s true, but a lot of low and mid level models and hopeful actresses do escort work.
It’s actually quite common in the modeling biz.
The paper rolled the dice and came up snake eyes.

She should continue the lawsuit . It should be easy to win after they admitted they lied.

Lame, very lame.
Don’t let them get away with it, Melania. All of big media needs to be put in their place, and you may as well start here.

In their apology, Daily Mail stated that the article was intended to be about the rumors surrounding Melania's past . . . and about how Melania Trump was an escort. You would almost have to try to word an "apology" that awkwardly. Someone who didn't know better might think the apology was repeating the allegation that Melania was a hooker.

That's no retraction... blaming the readers for "misinterpretation" is a weasel response.
I hope she wins millions from those creeps.
To: Kaslin
Included in the defamation suit should be all the repulsive Dem rats that went on TV commentary shows and parroted the allegation .
We need to root out each and every one of them ( there were a few ) and turn their names and the vid evidence over to the Trump campaign .
I would love to see these cretins start getting sued into silence .

What scumbags. This is not an “oops sorry” kind of story. I hope the bastards can be made to grovel. Full page front page apology at a minimum. I don’t know how it works in the UK, but they do have much tougher libel standards, the Daily Mail may still have legal problems, I don’t know.

I guess this is why we haven’t seen more of Melania on the campaign.
Now we will I hope. She’s a great asset, especially on the immigration issue.

POS Daily Mail’s headline reads: “Melania Trump: A retraction”.. EXCUSE ME? Intentionally misleading headline made to appear as though Melania is retracting a statement.
