James Comey's rationale for not referring Hillary Clinton's email crimes to the Justice Department rested almost entirely on a single, quite thin, legal and ethical plank, which was that she did not act intentionally when she sent and received classified emails over her home-brew server. Though his argument for deferring prosecution was mostly specious, it did contain at least a shred of credibility in that as Comey described the situation to the American public and Congress, Hillary had no motive to intentionally put American national security at risk. However, the recent evidentiary revelation (many would say confirmation) that Hillary established the server with the deliberate intent of shielding her illicit influence-peddling for her family "Foundation" while secretary of state shows that the issue of her motivation could not be seen by any "reasonable" prosecutor as exculpatory. Comey's refusal to recommend prosecution, while knowing these facts at the time, proves he was not reasonable, and also that he is incompetent and culpable for not doing so.

The FBI is corrupt
As I understand it, it isn’t Comey’s responsibility nor authority to determine if charges are to be filed. That is up to prosecutors and the attorney general. He had no legal standing to make such determination. His duty was to develop evidence and present that to the prosecuting attorneys. Period, end of discussion. However I think the Attorney General, Lynch and Bill Clinton hatched a plan to make Comey the fall guy. Their “spontaneous” airport meeting was fake as Bruce Jenner’s breasts. By admitting they should not have met, they took her out of the equation as far as making a decision regarding charging Hillary. Then Janet Lynch basically recused herself and placed the authority onto Comey, although she has no stautory authority to abdicate her responsibility.
This should have been handled by a special prosecutor or at the least a grand jury, but they could not have controlled the outcome with certainty then.
Like all things Clintonian, this was a sham from the get-go!
Did anyone really think the fbi would refer an indictment for Hillary? The fix was in by the doj & fbi from the beginning. Just Kabuki theater.

I posted the article because it is an excellent discussion of the simple fact that Clinton is clearly guilty and Comey has clearly been dishonest and corrupt.
My comments referred to the media reporting that Comey is a “straight shooter”, extremely honest, above reproach, etc.
This article disproves those media reports.
You have posted the real reason for Comey’s position. He said there are two things he cares about, 1. his professional integrity and 2 his family. My guess is that when faced with a choice, he chose door number 2.

Just who the hell is Comey to take it upon himself to render a verdict on Mrs. Clinton’s intentionality? Shouldn’t that be a matter for a jury to decide at her trial?
Before being involved with the Obama administration and the Clintons Loretta Lynch and Comey actually had pretty good reputations.
I doubt Lynch was drinking the Obama kool-aid like Holder was. They had been on the same page for a looooooooong time.
Lynch and Comey do take orders from Obama. In a vice between Obama and the Clintons, in a very important election for the Soros Globalist gang, of which Clinton’s for sure are part of.
Lynch and Comey were both given offers they could not “refuse”

In the book ‘CRISIS OF CHARACTER!’, the former secret service officer tells about Bill Clinton during the Monica mess hearings, asking another secret service guy who was testifying, “How is your family?”
A pure threat to the man’s family, as Clinton had never spoke to this agent before.
Setting aside the fact that intent is not required in the law, Comey knew of Clinton’s use of BitBleach and yet claims Clinton had “no intent”. If they truly were “yoga e-mails” she would not have gone to such extraordinary lengths to delete them. Clinton’s use of BitBleach to delete what she claims are “yoga e-mails” is the act of a guilty mind.
Comey has joined the conspiracy and needs to be removed and prosecuted.
