On this weekends broadcast of Fox News Sunday, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump campaign manager Kellyanne Conway pledged the campaign will be doing minority outreach events in inner cities
.Conway said, I pledge to you and everybody who is watching, Those events are actually being planned. And we are very excited about them. Look, John McCain and mitt Romney are fine theyre wonderful human beings, great Americans. they were fine presidential nominees. John McCain got 4 percent of the African-American vote, and Mitt Romney improved that to a whopping 6 percent. Were fighting for every single vote. Were going to leave it all on the field. that includes going where the voters are and taking the case directly to them.

Trump has had years of working with all races in the construction and management of his many hotels. One does not build such a large enterprise without learning how to work with people of all races, personalities and educational levels.
So the word is like a wedge to open the door so you can talk. Well ok. I prefer “listen!” then. “Look” just comes off phony and outdated and arrogant. MHO.
“What can they promise them
More government programs”
You’re kidding, right?
How about a chance to live a life of dignity. Real job opportunities. Maybe the black community would appreciate being treated as a productive American, instead of being used like a tool by the Dems.
I wonder if Trump has been reading FR? I have said it over and over that if there ever was a time for a GOP candidate to get a larger than normal share of the black vote, this is it. I hope he goes to Milwaukee, Detroit, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Baltimore and other cities in battleground states. I also hope he airs ads on BET and goes on black radio.
He does that and convinces them that all the years of supporting Dems have brought them nothing but misery, he can win 20% of the black vote.
He does that and he wins in a landslide on Election Day.
Quite true. Of course, winning Florida and N Carolina are a must. So that is a good place to start.
In any case, Trump before a majority black audience anywhere will be covered “big league”. So much better if the audience is supportive for TV. The pained look on Don Lemmon would be priceless.
I don’t recall Milt Romley or Juan McQueeg or Bob Dull doing anything like this.
My memory must be failing.
Oh, please. That's the political equivalent of "Bless his heart."
If you say so. Still annoying.
Ah, it must have been subconscious plagiarism on my part. You hear something you agree with and a couple days later, you think you came up with it. It's hard these days with all the info flying around, you forget where it came from.
Agree. There’s a clip (it’s in a new Trump ad) where a BLM type interrupts ILLary. ILLary has no patience with this lady. Cuts her off, then ignores her.
Maybe Booker T Jones can help.
I can see someone saying Romney was a fine human being.
There’s no way I buy into his politics, but I don’t think he’s human scum.
John McCain is human scum.
Pray for Trump’s safety.
We’ll get a good idea of how well this is working by turnout
And I would propose to you that a significant percentage of minorities “have no hope” because that’s what they’ve been conditioned to think since 1964 when LBJ said he’d “have those n*ggers voting Democrat for a hundred years” by giving them handouts and making them dependent on him and the Dems.
The way you’re looking at this, ALL minorities look to the govt and thus have no chance of having hope. That’s not true. That’s how Dems WANT them to see their lives.
Turn that around: If someone like The Donald came along and cared enough about them to actually speak to them and teach them HOW they too can have hope, then many would gladly throw off those Democrat chains of dependency. And it would be contagious.
You just watch. Donald Trump cares about them, as they will soon find out. And his sense of caring dang sure doesn’t originate from just wanting votes. He has spent a lifetime caring for people less fortunate than he has been. Why should that stop now?
Look for threats of violence to attempt to shut them down, and violent actions if that fails.
Trump won’t promise government programs. There have been enough of them and all were worthless. Trump is promising to bring manufacturing back to America and opportunities for small business to prosper without government strangulation regulations. Plenty of blacks have talents and are capable of small business or manufacturing futures. THEY will see the light at the end of the tunnel. I have faith in that.
Has to come from within the community
Get rid of the Hip Hop Gangsta culture
Only they can do it
She talks too much. Who cares about McCain’s and Romney’s numbers? It’s as if she’s giving a staff briefing to her boss. Just do your freakin’ job.
Outstanding!
Libs will go absolutely ballistic when Trump shows up at the plantation gates, saying, “Let my people go!”
