I went to a Trump rally in Connecticut and the protesters were not a factor. Friendly crowd and great experience. You should go to a Trump rally at least once in your lifetime.

I like Pat Caddell, he’s one of the very few Democrats that try to be somewhat fair and balanced. I’ve seen the Fox show he’s on a few times and it’s not bad.
Clinton was actually officially endorsed by the CPUSA this February. But the thumbs up received no mainstream press attention, even though David Duke subsequently trying to play footsie with Donald Trump was extensively covered.
Let’s kickstart this rally thread and bump it back to top of Breaking News sidebar. Huge rally tonight with more to follow in successive days. It’s been a great couple of weeks for Donald Trump. It’s getting more and more difficult for pollsters to ignore the Trump lead.
Meanwhile the embattled Crooked Hillary campaign is careening off the rails. She’s hiding from the people and hoping to run out the clock with her subservient media friends but the Trump team is controlling the ball and running up the score.
Who dresses this woman by the way? I don’t normally criticize how a woman dresses but this is hardly presidential and even in the workplace, her supervisor would have to pull her aside and slip her a brochure on how to dress as a professional. Unless of course she had a job where she was locked in a dark basement transcribing the Dead Sea scrolls or something -away from the public eye.
That’s an interesting thought, Judy. I’ve heard Trump and his surrogates talk about the differences between he and Hillary and the direction of our country with each as Prez.
I had Fox or Fox Biz on in the background yesterday a.m., as I often do, and there was a woman that was a “conservative” and I man that was a Pubbie discussing Trump (I didn’t catch either one of their names). The man was laying out the differences between each (ObamaCare, border & immigration, taxes, etc., etc.) and not voting for Trump was a vote for Hillary. She was having none of it, was rather shrill, definitely a never Trumper and said that nothing Trump could say would change her mind. It is my feeling that she has never listened to one of his speeches and was only reading a couple of the things he said that the media blew out of proportion (Mexican judge, Mexicans are rapists, etc.). She was a real piece of work.
CNN has been occassionally touting Hillary’s stamina by citing to her fund-raising “spree,” multiple events but the only locale I’ve heard referred to is “the Hamptons.”

For those that aren’t familiar with WA State, the Cascade Mtns. pretty much divide the eastside of the state from the western portion, including Seattle and the I-5 corridor. Here’s a map with the 2012 election results. Romney lost the state by about 485k votes.

Thank you for the report - it doesn’t surprise me. I’m not watching local news and wouldn’t think of going to the Seattle Slimes. May check the Everett Herald later today or tomorrow a.m. Haven’t read them in years but I seem to recall them being fairly lib, too.
I’m trying to remember. I had texted months ago to 88022 and then I signed up at the Trump site. I’ve been getting email from the WA org (Sen. Don Benton, etc.) here and there more recently re volunteer training, etc. and the event. I don’t think I signed up on a separate site for WA State - the Trump org must have given my info to the state campaign.
I wonder if you could find out by contacting the Texas State Republican Party.
Thank you. I’m grateful no one was injured. His Jeep is being repaired today. He bought the vehicle less than 2 weeks ago. It looks like the serpentine belt broke leaving him with no power steering.

I’m still back and forth about going (would need to get a motel room). Protestors are one of my considerations, given I’m a single woman and would be going alone. Publius mentioned in this thread that the local media has been providing negative coverage, so it wouldn’t surprise me if there are a lot of loonies outside (and possibly a few inside). I would hope it wouldn’t be anything like what happened in Chicago (I remember reading what the TF member went through trying to leave after it was cancelled) or in CA. That it’s not being held downtown Seattle will hopefully limit the number of protestors.
I realize it’s a huge venue, but I’m a little concerned that it won’t be full - got another email early this a.m. that tickets are still available.
My sympathies to both of you and your families.
Are you going to the rally in Everett tonight?
I went to Millington rally (outside Memphis) alone back in February. Didn’t have any issues but that was before the protesting really started. Mine was also at an airport hangar, so more isolated.
