This 1952 version featured musicianship from some of the greatest sidemen in the game. It was a beautiful and understated performance.
Hanks tenor sax never got the attention it deserved, but this 1960 recording showed just what he could do with a jazz variation on a standard. That was Art Blakey on drums.
