John Bolton for Secretary of State? Trump could do a lot worse, and arguably not much better than the experienced diplomat and national-security analyst. Hugh Hewitt has been pushing the Trump campaign to start naming its Cabinet positions since Trump clinched the nomination, particularly when it comes to national-security appointments. Appearing on Hugh’s show this morning, Bolton endorsed Trump and said he’d be pleased to consider serving in that capacity, at least:
HH: Now let me turn to Donald Trump. I have urged him to name his cabinet. I have specifically urged him to name you as his Secretary of State designate. If Donald Trump asked you to serve in that capacity as Secretary of State, would you agree to do so?JB: Well, number one, with respect to your role, I am deeply grateful, and it’s an honor to be considered. You know, you’ve got to talk to somebody about a job like that. It’s not just enough to take a position so you can put it on your resume. You need to be sure, particularly with the State Department, you’ve got an understanding with the president. He runs foreign policy. Let’s be clear about that. But you have to understand exactly what your role would be and so on, and I think that’s a conversation any responsible person would have. But I’ve been honored, privileged, really, to serve in a number of senior positions at State and Justice over the years. And as you know, it’s an honor to serve the country. So obviously, you’d take it very, very seriously.

Attorney General! Rudy, like Trump will have a serious job RIFing all the Socialist/Marxist Lawyers and other semi-human “waste” that’s accumulated at the Just Us Department, but Rudy has the cojones to do it! But then, all the Departments will need a complete housecleaning followed by fumigation!
What a change from Crooked Hillary! Our nation should be so blessed.

When it is all said and done, the Sauds will be gone. ISIS will be representing the Sunnis in general and the Arabs in particular; they will be in a perpetual war with the Shites, particularly the Iranians. The middle east will be back to the stone age. Russia will be fighting Islamic fires all over its southern and eastern regions, Europe will have its Islamic fires in the South, Southeast, and the Northwest. China, too, will have its share of Islamic fire to its west. Needless to say, the only remaining enemies of America will be the tinpot dictators of Latin America.
I want an attorney general who is frothing at the mouth in anticipation of releasing the hounds of hell special prosecutors on the clinton crime family.

Bolton's not stupid, but if he has a solution to any ME problem that does not involve more nation building and more body bags coming home, I have not heard of it.

Not a bad pick for Sec. of State—I think Trump should start to pick his people—to serve him. He should at least pick them in private so when (and if) he wins he can start naming them so they can be vetted and ready to go on day one. His 100 days will be historic! 1. Start the wall- or at least lay it out! 2. Dump Obamacare and replace it with Trumpcare, 3. drop out of PPT and Nafta. Have the new taxes ready—first target—Foreign Cars—and urging American car makers to build good cheap cars for the People. (This would not apply to foreign cars built in America—he should urge others to set up factories in the US and hire Americans). Set up a meeting with leaders of other lands, the First being Israel, the Second Russia, The Third, Japan. Forth England.
