ANALYSIS/OPINION:
One by one, the #NeverTrumpers will fall, as they realize the only two people who have a shot at winning the White House are GOP nominee Donald Trump or his Democratic rival Hillary Clinton.
Brad Thor, who has been in the #NeverTrump camp since the beginning and is a respected conservative author, came to this realization on Tuesday, throwing his support behind Mr. Trump. It wasn’t a pretty endorsement, but it was an endorsement all the same.
“Yesterday, Dr. [Hugh] Hewitt tried (yet again) to help guide America to the best (and only) option available to us. I lost a lot of sleep last night reading and then re-reading his words. I awoke this morning with a more nuanced view. Drug #1 (Hillary Clinton) will kill us — no question. Drug #2 (Donald Trump) might kill us, but it also might: A) Slow the cancer, or even B) Cure the cancer,” Mr. Thor wrote in HotAir.com, a conservative site that is part of Townhall Media.
“It’s a lot to hope for, I know, but hope is all we have left. We have exhausted every other avenue. Make no mistake — I believe one hundred percent in standing on principle. Principle, in this case though, will not cure cancer. Sadly, that crappy clinic south of the border is starting to look like our only option,” he wrote.

You talk about vengeance. Is vengeance going to bring your candidate back to you, or my candidate, Cruz, to me?
I forgo the vengeance of my candidate. But I have selfish reasons. My present candidate was forced to go it alone because of this immigration business. All right, now I have to make arrangements to get him safely cleared of all these false racism charges.
But I'm a superstitious man, and if some unlucky accident should befall him... if he should be audited by the IRS, or attacked by a Muslim Gold Star family, or if he's struck by a bolt of lightning, then I'm going to blame some of the people in this party, and that I do not forgive.
But, that aside, let me say that I swear, on the souls of my grandchildren, that I will not be the one to break the peace we have made here today ... AS LONG AS DONALD TRUMP WINS IN NOVEMBER!.
At least we now know who they are.
An apology, repentance, and some campaigning on Trump’s behalf with a fascinating testimony about his born-again experience will be nice. I hope to read about it in the next few weeks.

Going AWOL in the face of a potential CINC Hillary and her SCOTUS is not “standing on principle.” It is treason. Americans will die if Hillary is elected. It’s that simple.
All “conservatives” sitting this one out and lounging poolside in Mexico have destroyed their credibility forever regardless of the outcome of the election.

That man was talking out of his a$$ like most every other NeverTrump whined was, and if you think some anti-Bush/Cruz/etc freepers didn't voice similar sentiments; I have a ski resort in Florida to sell.
We are all human, we all make mistakes. What he said was stupid, make no mistake about it. It was mind-numbingly dumb. My wife was a Cruz supporter. Am I supposed to divorce her; or allow her to change her mind and support Trump now? He came around, he is supporting now. In the end, that's what matters.
I have zero respect for anyone who has helped Hillary until now. His great awakening is still welcome but it doesn’t win him any respect over here.
It’s a career decision for these people. They decide based on the income stream the decision promises.
At best, I assume some are honest (never heard of this one), future income is a factor that weighs in the consideration. “you show me where a man gets his cornpone...”

Never heard of him either, but here is an argument that seems to resonate with people I’ve met:
Do you think Hillary Clinton loves America, or is ashamed?
Do you think Donald Trump loves America?
Which of the two do YOU believe wants America to be great?
Maybe it is just the people I meet, but I’ve yet to meet someone who really believes Hillary loves America and wants us to be great...

Doesn’t sound like much support there from Thor for Trump, IMO. There is a big difference in my book between supporting a candidate and voting for them. Thor and his ilk have been trashing Trump for months on end to the benefit of Hillary Rotten Criminal.
Now let’s see selfish and unpatriotic “never Trump” types campaign FOR the defeat of Hillary Clinton with such vigor. Until that happens they are still dead to me.
