A senior staffer at the Republican National Committee (RNC) told Breitbart News Saturday GOP presidential candidate Donald J. Trump did not say or suggest that he was open to granting any legal statusamnestyto any illegal aliens in the United States at his campaigns National Hispanic Advisory Council meeting as reported in BuzzFeed and Univision.
Mr. Trump did not say he was in favor of legalization, said Helen Aguirre-Ferre, who joined the RNC staff to help coordinate outreach to the Hispanic community and act as the GOP Hispanic communications director. Aguirre-Ferre told Breitbart News that she is Hispanic, but not a member of the advisory council. Her role was to help arrange the meeting and attend on behalf of the RNC.
Anyone at the meeting, held at Trump Tower, who got the impression that Trump had changed his position on foreigners in the United States illegally misinterpreted his remarks, she said.

Sad that some freepers believe anything posted. The other day someone posted how GA was a swing state and there were a handful of freepers who actually believed it.
Maybe they never did ,but were trolling as they hate Trump or are liberals anyway.

Sessions Refutes Buzzfeed Trump Immigration Reversal Report: He Has Not Changed His View
Thanks. Of course it was a lie! But has to be refuted a lot.
Agreed, but the facts still will be lost on the elitist establishment trolls, the liberal trolls on here, and the never Trump idiots
“Sorry, youre being played. Have a look at CNN now...”
I’m sitting in my gazebo drinking my second cup of coffee. All I know is what I’m reading at FR. I don’t watch broadcast TV anyway, so I rely on Free Republic special correspondents to fill me in on the latest talking head regurgitations.
I’m comforted by the latest statement from Senator Jeff Sessions. Perhaps Donald will chime in with a tweet to quash this stupidity. I hope so.
At least those just not sure of the truth will get to read it!
I trust Jeff Sessions.
It appears the lie started with one immigration lawyer supposedly at the meeting who told Univision. Monty or some name like that.
I used to read Mitchell’s twitter feed a lot. I should bookmark a few twitter things to read.
Thanks for the update!
Thanks for the words of reason and encouragement, Jane. I do tend to get very wound up about this issue, given how much my family has suffered from it.
Trump got my attention, then my 100% support, precisely because of his strong, pro-American stance on illegal immigration. Even a hint of softening on his part would just about do me in. I’ve extended more trust to Donald than I have to any politician since Reagan, and he EARNED it.
For now, I’m trusting Trump to keep his word, and I do that because of his long established history as a straight shooter. I’m hoping with everything I’ve got, that he remains true to himself and the American people. So, so much depends on it.
“I was a bit worried at first too, last night. Now Im not.
:-) Check out links I just posted.”
Thanks, LJ. I will.
Yet Kellyanne Conway apparently today said that it is still “undetermined” if he’s going to come out for amnesty.
Yet Kellyanne Conway apparently today said that it is still “undetermined” if he’s going to come out for amnesty.
"On Sunday, Mr. Trumps new campaign manager, Kellyanne Conway, dialed down the pledge, suggesting the deportation force might not be set up after all.
"Asked on CNNs 'State of the Union' if Mr. Trump would mobilize this deportation force in the White House, Ms. Conway responded: 'To be decided.'"
Wake up, gang. Let them know how you feel.
Toro caca!
Bullsh!t.
100% correct.
