A senior staffer at the Republican National Committee (RNC) told Breitbart News Saturday GOP presidential candidate Donald J. Trump did not say or suggest that he was open to granting any legal status–amnesty–to any illegal aliens in the United States at his campaign’s National Hispanic Advisory Council meeting as reported in BuzzFeed and Univision.
“Mr. Trump did not say he was in favor of legalization,” said Helen Aguirre-Ferre, who joined the RNC staff to help coordinate outreach to the Hispanic community and act as the GOP Hispanic communications director. Aguirre-Ferre told Breitbart News that she is Hispanic, but not a member of the advisory council. Her role was to help arrange the meeting and attend on behalf of the RNC.
Anyone at the meeting, held at Trump Tower, who got the impression that Trump had changed his position on foreigners in the United States illegally misinterpreted his remarks, she said.

I saw yesterday’s thread and noticed it was sourced from Univision, which caused me to instantly discount it as a probable hit job.

Since Kellyanne was hired, the Trump campaign had been reconsidering the promise to deport the illegal aliens in this country. Whether the promise will be changed is "to be determined."
You are watching a trial balloon in action. Those who don't want Trump to reverse his promise to deport illegal aliens should contact the campaign and tell them how you feel. Those who do want the campaign to back off the deportation promise should do nothing.
It's really up to us.
It would be foolish to reverse the stand that won him the nomination and will win him the election.
Donald Trump is many things, but foolish is not one of them.

The RNC is not the Trump campaign. The Trump campaign’s campaign manager is saying that it is “to be determined” whether Trump will reverse his promise to deport the 11 million illegal aliens in our country.
That’s just a fact. Those who don’t want Trump to reverse his promise to deport should let him know now before any decision is made.
I understand your concerns given she came from the Cruz camp and his amnesty position has always been quite lawyerly and wobbly.
Yes, you’re right. No one needs to trash Trump, but they should let him know how they feel. It is important.
Just read on twitter that Sessions is saying that Univision and Buzzfeed are liars..I figured that out last night when I saw the headline came from Univision and Buzzfeed..seriously people its UNIVISION and BUZZFEED..Im more likely to believe nonsense coming from MSNBC than Univision and Buzzfeed..what next, the Onion..stop believing the lying liberal press!!

It’s all campaign hot air at this point. Don’t get wrapped up in these pot stirring games. The media, GOPe and sore loser Cruzers are trying to depress support for Trump. It’s that simple.
Trump has always been against mass deportation, the question of legalization I think is what is up in the air.

I also contacted the Trump people via his website to let him know about the stupid Univision and Buzzfeed lies and that people are discussing it.

I’m not taking any chances. I’m letting the Trump campaign know that this is a ‘third rail’ issue for Trump supporters.
It wouldn’t be the first time a candidate ran to the right in the primary, then ran to the middle in the general. I’m not saying that Donald’s doing this — it’s all rumor and speculation at this point — but there’s too much at stake to leave something like this to chance.
I’ll be letting them know where I stand, today.

Trump had his best week at least since the Republican Convention. His opponents are desperate to find something to dull his momentum.
