He was one of this country's most notorious serial killers, tying up, torturing, and murdering 10 people in the city of Wichita from 1974 until he was arrested in 2004.
And now it has been revealed that Dennis Rader, who dubbed himself the BTK killer for his method of 'bind, torture, kill', had planned an 11th killing but was caught before he could carry it out.
Rader says he had picked out a woman to be his 'magnum opus' and planned to mutilate her in her own home before hanging her upside down and burning the place to the ground.

He must feel left out of the news cycle
I don’t trust juries as much as you. I will take a plea and give em life. But prohibit them from speaking to press or writing books
Kill this mistake.
You’re probably right. That other evil freak.
these animals should never be allowed to talk to the media or get any publicity at all....
if we can’t execute them, then we should banish them completely so their names or their faces are never seen again....

Demon?
Like most of the famous serial killers he was a sexual deviant and to some degree a necrophiliac.
Also, in 1989, he worked as a census field operations supervisor of Wichita and was, in 1991, hired by the Compliance Department in Park City as a dogcatcher and compliance officer. He was later described as being extremely strict in his position and even overzealous. One nieghbor claimed he euthanized her dog for no reason. He was still working there at the time of his arrest and was also the congregation president of the Christ Lutheran Church.
Now remember this is the land of OZ... Kansas... Westboro Church, and birthplace of Arlen Spector.. I live in MO and all manner of strangeness flows out from the belly of KANSAS...
His story is always the first read for my digital forensics students. And the Casey Anthony fiasco. Good forensics v. “not-so-good” forensics examples.
I’m sure the little psychopath doesn’t believe in hell, but hell believes in him.. and he will be tortured for eternity. We all get the last laugh on this piece of human sh*t.
he’s a good Lutheran isn’t he?
maybe Rader's work life changed...maybe he had more obligations at his church...
our local serial killer went after prostitutes..
but he didn't kill all of them...
I think he killed when he needed to steal their money...
so serial killers may be sociopaths but they also are pragmatic....
