On Monday night, the president attended a Democratic fundraiser for Hillary Clinton on Martha’s Vineyard.
“Although Michelle is very strict about me actually taking a vacation when I get a vacation, she gave me a special dispensation for this evening,” Obama told the approximately 60 guests who contributed $10,000 each to attend the fundraiser at a private home in Chilmark, Mass., according to a White House transcript. “Because she understands, just as all of you understand, how important this is.”
Polls are skewed because most intelligent people do NOT answer their cell phone if they don’t recognize the caller.
Second, a lot of people have cell phones that are also their work phones. I for one if called by a poll would hang up.
Three, liberals are basically lonely people who love attention, and if the phone rings they can wait to answer.*

Your first and second points here apply to me, personally. If we did our own little poll on polling here, we’d be shocked at the huge proportion of people these points apply to. Which goes right to the main point in Scania’s summary...the cohort in the group the group that answers is likely not representative of the overall population, which skews the poll results by the sample being at least marginally not representative.
He doesn’t need an ad, just tell the people via the media like he did in Iowa.

You know, I’m tearing up watching him with those people in Louisiana, and how they flocked to him. “we knew you would come...we’re glad you aren’t playing golf”...... This man truly cares.....he’s not in it for the money, the fame, etc. He already has all that. he doesn’t need the aggravation that running for office entails.
