It’s people even if it’s just a few people knowing they are not forgotten. Someone important cares.

That phrase “We knew you would come” speaks volumes.
His presence there not only puts the spotlight on the suffering of these fellow citizens, but it encourages these folks to keep going.
Trump understands this.
Obama doesn’t care. The media embarrasses itself trying to spin it for him.
Another thing: Trump is very subdued today. He sees the suffering and the loss of the very people he has promised to be a voice for, and it is humbling.
He will return very late tonight to a penthouse overlooking Manhattan and really know how much he has been blessed.

“To whom much is given, much is expected.”
Today will arm his resolve.
