Former President Bill Clinton and his daughter, Chelsea, plan to stop raising money for the Clinton Foundation and turn over operations to independent parties if Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton is elected president, according to people familiar with the plans.
The Clintons also plan to discontinue after this year one of the foundations signature events, the Clinton Global Initiative, Mr. Clinton told the staff at the foundations headquarters in New York on Thursday, according to people familiar with the matter.
Next months annual meeting aims to draw commitments from corporations, philanthropies and others to seek to remedy global problems such as poverty and AIDS.
The Clinton Foundation also would no longer accept foreign and corporate donations if Mrs. Clinton were elected president, a foundation official said on Thursday.

(They play with some very rough-and-tumble crowds who are even more ruthless than she is.)
No hospital for Haiti now, they’ll just keep the cash.
If I like my “foundation, I can keep my “foundation. - Queenie Clintoon.
Hard to do business in the Federal pen.
It will have served its purpose.
Every politician will want of his/her own.
Why not now if everything is kosher?
Didn’t she promise the same thing when she was being considered for secretary of state: scale things back, have the foundation be administered independently, stop accepting foreign donations?
Yeah, just like Hillary promised to have nothing to do with The Clinton Foundation while she was Secretary of State.
Although on the other hand, they won’t have to go begging to foreign governments and foreign and domestic businesses for money when they have the entire U.S. taxpayer base and federal treasury to rob.
If the way they are raising money now would be a problem if she were president, why was it not a problem when she was secretary of state???

I seem to remember this promise coming up in the SoS confirmation hearings.
I think some senator said he was concerned about all the $$ flowing into that charity account, and she said something like, don’t worry, if I’m confirmed money won’t go into THAT account...
So now we have another promise, and she gets to appoint all the people who would investigate her if she wins.
THey’ll scale it way back if she goes to prison and Bill moves to Bangcock
She’ll be selling influence from the Oval Office then, so she’s moving on up to the big time, gonna have a bigger piece of that pie.
“We stashed a cool billion...that should be enough for our dotage. Hell, Hill — you’re already there!”
Didnt she promise the same thing when she was being considered for secretary of state: scale things back, have the foundation be administered independently, stop accepting foreign donations?

Exactly. She’s such a money-grubbing, power hungry corrupt crone, she’ll do the same thing - the Clinton Foundation will still operate & she’ll dare anybody to do something about it .... and know they won’t.
Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!
But in the meantime, us commoners know the Clintons will continue to launder money from foreign doners and funnel it in to her campaign that she doesn’t seem physically up to participate in.
What a bunch of horse sh&t!
They won’t need it any more . . . .
The Clinton family will have direct access to the U.S. Treasury.
Work on poverty and AIDS, huh.
Yeah, all crises serve merely to ENRICH them. They WANT these bad things. They LIKE them.
Sooth the pains of the Haiti earthquake, did we..?
And so it is with pay inequity, too. As with racial strife. As with Mexican drug gun battles:
They WANT these things, the better to serve as an engine for political contributions and surrenduring freedom.
It’ll dry up real quick after she loses anyway. Can’t buy influence ...
