I feel they are simply addicted to big government, that explains Virginia too. Lots of areas there full of ex military, ie Tidewater area... going solid blue. Because they know Hellery will keep the gravy train going...

Actually in 2012 they said AZ was in p,at. It wasn’t. They said Georgia was in play. We can rehash 2912 but the fact is the polls came within a mere 400,000 votes of all being wrong, and that FL and OH both would have flipped if just 340,000 more Rs turned out.
So, no, Georgia isn’t in play.

Don’t believe a bit of this. Every election, the media tries to put Georgia in Play. Remember Sam Nun’s daughter who ended up getting beat badly? Trump will easily win Georgia. One big indicator of how the Clinton campaign REALLY feels about it will be how much time and money they spend there. Don’t look for much of either.

I don’t pretend to know one way or the other. But my only question would be, can she generate enough black vote to carry the state?
To: GuavaCheesePuff
Agreed, seems many on FR don’t believe it!

Many Democrats are going to cross over for Trump, like they did for Reagan.
Hillary isn't that popular in NY.

Pretty much this, i’m a Yankee and yes the Yankee’s have helped destroy this country from the Roosevelt’s to dishonest Abe.....a long and unfortunate list.
I remember hearing about Hans Frank as he was about to be hanged in Nuremberg, in his last dying words he whispered “good luck Germany”.
Many Americans will be doing the same.

VA has been simply overrun by immigrants of all kinds. It is in Mrs. Bill’s bag.

Massachusetts is bad now, probably just as bad as California...But I would suggest that you have a short memory. Liberalism started to take a stranglehold in Massachusetts in the '30s and '40s because the damn Irish really began to have influence, but both Massachusetts and Georgia both voted Republican and Democrat often-on through the '60s-80's (MA voted for Reagan in 1980, unlike Georgia). Both voted for Clinton in '92. It wasn't until the '96 presidential election that the modern demarcation between left and right became so clear, and Georgia swung the right way while Massachusetts fully succumbed to the left, again because of the hysterical influence of all the damn Irish we've got crawling around. In another 30 years, Massachusetts might well swing right again.
The Kennedy's are bad, and Ted was the most destructive -- but Nunn did as much damage as Ted in his own way.
Not to mention...Massachusetts militiamen started the United States of America while Georgians were sitting on their hands. It took Georgians plenty of time and some rather shocking butchery to get on board.

I would also add that all jest aside I have nothing against Georgia and would much rather live down there than in Massachusetts just now.
But when someone starts off with "Damned Yankees", well, I'm not going to bite my tongue.

It's perfectly alright You gave as good as you got. Come on down anytime...we can use the reinforcements. 😆

Didn’t VA just register some 18,000 felons whose votes won’t even be needed for Mrs. Bill’s victory?

Not really BS, we decided to sell and move to TX after the 2012 elections. Our county ad been reliably GOP for most of our 35 years in that county. Then redistricting started modifying that, but in 2012 not one GOP candidate was elected, even our very competent sheriff was voted out of office. Crime has sky rocketed since we left. Yup, We felt GA was turning blue, if influx of blacks continues in other counties won’t take too long.
To: wyowolf
Don’t buy it. Poll probably overestimates Black turnout.
