They broke into a stallion's pen before butchering the horse for meat
All that was left was a pile of the horse's ribs and it head on the ground
Venzuela is in the grip of a economic crisis that has led to food shortages
Starving Venezuelans have broken into a zoo and slaughtered a horse for its meat as a crippling economic crisis has left thousands without food. It is believed several people forced their way into Caricuao Zoo in Caracas and busted the stallion's pen before butchering it. It comes as Venuzuela is in the grip of a severe economic crisis which has led to food shortages and looting in some areas.

We had a bunch of Venezuelan students from the local university over to our house for a picnic/BBQ a few weeks ago. They are pretty much stuck here, and their parents are telling them they really need to not come home. I’ve heard some horror stories from these kids involving death.
This is reminding me of when the Berlin wall was built, only worse.
Holy (fill in the blank). Is civilization falling apart in Venezuela??? Desperate people find themselves doing desperate things? Socialism has failed badly there. Will our liberals in America see any connections between socialism and how that country has fallen apart?
Send every one of our university professors to Venezuela.
Give THEM a real education.
These poor people brought this on themselves by embracing socialism. Widespread pestilence is just around the corner as things deteriorate further.
Can’t we send all the Bernie Supporters down there to help out?? This is their Utopian Dream COuntry after all, where EVERYONE is Equal.
And in a non-biased Network news environment, we would be seeing stories nightly attributing this man-caused disaster to that idiot belief system known as socialism.
But since all the news networks are run by socialism minded people, they will not report on the disaster that has been caused by socialism.
More evidence that we need to make Liberal Journalists a rare condition.
You need to make it very clear to them that all of their problems back home stem from this foolish ideology known as "socialism."
People who believe in socialism need to suffer so that they can understand why it doesn't work.
You know better than that. Socialism believers are a cult. There is ample evidence throughout history that Socialism achieves horrors, starvation and death, but these people are utopian dreamers who reject real world evidence.
At least until it happens to them personally.

Our survival instinct makes people do what’s necessary to survive. If this continues, they’ll soon be eating each other.
Reminds me of a story from the Middle Ages. At this time the serfs were being starved by their local castle. A noble was on his back to the castle (somewhere in England) and he was attacked and the serfs and they killed his horse and ate it right in front of him.
According to Bernie Sanders this is a good thing. It means the poor are eating rather than starving like in capitalist societies.
I’ve read that one can be arrested for FISHING. Not catching anything, just casting a line. There are some YouTube videos of (sailing) cruisers in the area who are reporting the same saying that provisions are incredibly scarce and muggings are common.
They weren’t starving enough not to take the head and the bones? Either they’re that stupid or the starving excuse is a lie. Any bit of flesh or bone left is proof.
Where’s Michael Moore when they need him?
