Not at all. This campaign has two phases: the one before Labor Day and the one after Labor Day, when the campaign starts for real. What I see coming after Labor Day is a Trump campaign that will deal in issues and ideas. He needs the right people in the campaign to do this. I believe Trump knows exactly what he is doing...

What’s going on is fast, smart, and flexible adaptation. He sent Corey to be his voice at CNN. Manafort got him through the convention intact with the GOPe, and now.... this.

He’s smarter than people think, way smarter. The days of a plodding dull sameness are over. Its gonna be fun.

Running a static campaign with the same people in place is not the way to win elections - or run a successful business as Trump has done his entire life.

A successful person is ALWAYS making corrections and adapting to changing circumstances.

Of course the Trump-hating media will try and spin this as a "chaotic campaign out of control" but that is actually probably part of the plan. Trump has always been underestimated.
