Donald Trump Hands Kellyanne Conway, Stephen Bannon New Roles in Campaign
NBC News ^ | 8/17/2016 | Ali Vitali

NEW YORK — Donald Trump is shaking up his campaign's leadership amid flagging poll numbers, NBC News has learned.

Kellyanne Conway — already a senior adviser to the campaign — told NBC News she has been promoted to the role of campaign manager. She confirmed that Paul Manafort will stay on as campaign chair but said Stephen Bannon, the co-founder of conservative Breitbart News, will come on board as campaign CEO.

The moves were first reported by The Wall Street Journal and mark yet another round of internal shakeups for a campaign that seems to be struggling to find consistent footing.

I want to win," Trump told the newspaper. "That's why I'm bringing on fantastic people who know how to win and love to win."

The Trump campaign parted ways with controversial campaign manager Corey Lewandowski after the primaries ended, citing a new phase of the campaign.

Manafort had been unofficially filling the role of campaign manager after Lewandowski's departure, but himself has been the subject of controversy amid questions over his ties to ousted Ukrainian Prime Minister Victor Yanukovich.

Trump has been trailing in polls to rival Hillary Clinton, with some Republicans publicly pressuring the Republican National Committee to abandon Trump's bid and instead focus on down ballot races.

The latest NBC News / SurveyMonkey Weekly Election Tracking Poll showed Clinton leading Trump by 9 points, 50 percent to 41 percent.

Bannon is a Navy man, and I take it “wingman” has something to do with the Navy.

My Wing Man theory is here:

Trump should be up 10 to 12 against Hillary and the democrats who brought the US, ISIS, Benghazi, Obamacare, IRS scandal, VA scandal, Email scandal, Clinton Foundation, BLM, Orlando, San Bernardino, Dallas.

It is unfathominable that ANY candidate is fighting an uphill battle to beat Hillary the baggage-handler Clinton.

I have to admit that Steve Bannon was simply a name to me, until a friend sent me the article linked below. Based upon this information, assuming it's roughly accurate, Bannon sounds like a fabulous choice to be CEO at the heart of Trump's campaign!! This Bannon guy is a phenomenon:

Who is Steve Bannon?

>>I love the line “tries to find consistent footing.” Have they watched how Hillary falls and stumbles around?
********************************************************
Propaganda is a science and an art which the MSM has been honing for years. Their profession is PROPAGANDIST.

Their choice of words is very deliberate. It is meant to expose the slightly-focused reader/listener to these words “tries to find consistent footing” and associate them with Donald Trump.

Trump struggling to find footing = Trump = unstable.

This is one tool they use to brainwash the citizenry. Make no mistake.

Really? Brilliant? Fantastic? Bannon? You know a completely different Bannon than I do. Now, Kellyann is a professional and really good at what she does. She is also respected by those in the industry. Bannon?

Not sure where your beef with Bannon comes from. On his Sirius radio show, all through the primaries he encouraged all Cruz, Trump, and Carson supporters to call in. He would conduct his show with Socratic method questions and let the callers do all the talking. He was always respectful of the callers that I heard, even if he didnt agree. Kellyann Conway was a frequent guest when she was working for the Cruz campaign. She was always treated with respect, and was a very welcomed guest. Fact is Breitbart Media has been atracting huge traffic with true journalism under his leadership. Bannon has been very successful in business, media, and the millitary. Maybe you can point me to the source of Bannon's bananlity you allude to, I'm open to new information. Here is a Bloomberg article from 2015 with some opinion and background about Bannon.

Good to have a consensus, but Kellyanne makes it easy...

>> This must really frost Ted’s ass

>> She’s great. Laura Ingram should be on board too.

>> She gave an excellent interview on Fox

>> She’s my future ex-wife!

>> Kellyanne will be a major asset to Mr Trump!

- - - - - -

And special mention of a wonderful woman...

>> but I still miss Barbara Olson who was killed on 9/11/2001

Ditto.

Thank you. I have never listened to his show so you know alot more than I do. I do like Kellyann alot. My problem with Bannon is just from what I have heard, he seems to throw out innuendoes then try to build a foundation under it after the fact. I think he is the one who has started the ridiculous story about Hillary’s health. Not only is it no believeable,it makes the Trump organization look less than honest and a bit sleazy.

I have been tuned into Bannon’s morning program all year.

He is a fantastic radio personality and he allows all opinions to be expressed. He will not hesitate to comment about tin foil hats and absurd ideas about conspiracies being expressed live on the air.
He keeps it real.

He has different ‘Wing men’ but typically he seems to mean associates in the studio with him. Yesterday, (Tuesday) he had Curt Schilling as a ‘wing man.’ Often he refers to his ‘wing men’ in their international bureaus including London, Jerusalem, and other stateside cities and in far away places.

Breitbart’s impact is growing exponentially. The reach is measurable by nbr. of page visitors and hits. It is an Internet phenom, and the MSM has taken note. Breitbart is a giant in the shadow of very few other sites.

Some references to military expressions are common such as the often heard ‘Permission to come aboard’ request. I find it all delightful.

Cboldt has been all year an amazing well of information helpful to the
Trump campaign.

He may find disfavor with Trump's campaign style but he is a proven supporter.

-- He may find disfavor with Trump's campaign style ... --

I don't recall even expressing disfavor over his style, or any of his remarks. I know I haven't been at all critical of him for what others consider "intemperate remarks," such as Khan, 2nd amendment supporters, and so on.

Thank you for sticking up for me, by the way. Just the same, I don't mind taking an unjustified beating. It tells me something about the beater that I probably wouldn't otherwise learn.

Trump struggling to find footing = Trump = unstable.

Blogger and polymath Vox Day has this phenomenon covered; he even wrote a book about it.

SJWs *always* lie.

SJWs *always* project.

SJWs *always* double down.

Think of Hillary's stool and being helped up the steps...and her concussion.

“Yeah, that worries me too. Remember “Hairy” Reid was wanting them to give Trump fake info.”

And didn’t Trump say that he’d go to the briefing, but he wouldn’t necessarily trust the info he’d be hearing? I thought that was great! Always thinking ahead.
