Yes, we are all well aware the Constitution limits the Presidency to two consecutive four-year terms of office. Then again, if you weigh the track record of the Obama administration, the Constitution is nothing more than a challenge that he bypasses and circumvents with every given opportunity. Small wonder that he may very well do the same thing with the upcoming presidential elections. Already a sham, the presidential elections are actually a vehicle he can use to grab that “Third Term” for himself.
First we’re going to quote straight out of the Huffington Post, an article from August 9, 2016, entitled “Does He Deserve a Third Term? Obama is S.T.U.P.I.D!” The acronym “STUPID” is supposed to stand for Super Human, Tough, Unequalled, Proactive, Ingenious, and Demi-god.
No, your eyes did not deceive you: that last was “Demi-god,” this article from a “Contributor” to the Huffington Post. The last paragraph is very alarming, and here it is:

What more can qualify a man as god? A loving father to his children, best friend to his wife, a friend to his subordinates, a mentor to growing young men, hope to the hopeless, a victor in his challenges, the most powerful man on earth, yet a simple man in all his ways. Honestly, if he did. I really don’t think the public would rise up and stop him. The people that would have to go to work, take care of their kids, and be upstanding citizens. It wouldn’t be worth it to enough people to get out in the streets. A state or two might secede, but that’s probably it.

There is no way that would happen, but I would not be surprised to see a bipartisan effort to repeal the 22nd Amendment.
You're right. The public is more interested in what's on cable TV, and whether or not they can cover this month's utility bills. But the Supreme Court might just weigh in...even the liberal justices might object.
And the military and the Secret Service might get a bit, shall we say, frisky. All the makings of a good novel.
But Obama will not provoke such a scenario in the first place. He is, at his core, a lazy and risk-adverse person. He will retire. And then he'll spend the rest of his life alternating between golfing and lecturing us on talk shows.

The limitation doesn’t say anything about *consecutive* terms. It is 2 terms, period.

You’re not the first person to say that. My late grandfather told me that he had third-hand information that Johnson got hot intel on some big domestic Communist plot or another and it made him awful jumpy for awhile.

The rigged system doesn't work that way. 0bama is simply a useful pawn of the Establishment, and will leave the stage when his time arrives, ostensibly to be replaced by a new pawn (Hillary).
That's how the system works. The regime is perpetuated, while subordinate individual tools come and go, having served their purpose.
For 0bama to attempt such silliness would produce an instant Constitutional crisis, replete with a near certainty of armed insurrection. It's simply not going to happen. The elite don't need to accomplish their goals like that. There's too much unpredictability and risk.
There are enough real Tyrannical scenarios to worry about, without indulging such paranoid fantasies.
