I was looking for scenes from San Diego. But that was the only one I liked.
Saw onyx had errands to do. BEFORE DARK! I thought she will not make it as I looked at the darkened window here.
Then the truth of the time zone hit and I thought, I am so dumb! 3 hours, almost, she had to get back before dark.
We have pretty sunsets, but no twilight. The land is so flat that the sun sets and it is about 10 minutes to total darkness. Sometimes beautiful yellow and red streaks under the cloud cover make it a special pleasure.
We have an evening train heading North on the mainland. If the air is heavy and clouds low at the same time,it is a lovely sound as it blows its horn at each crossing, and the sound echoes across to the island.

Another trip we went right on by to go to Tijuana...not a very pleasant walk but my husband wanted to go. Spell check corrected my spelling of the city...hmmm Guess I added an extra a. I probably pronounce it wrong too.

I’ve lived in southern and northern CA, but I don’t recall that many flat locations. Especially up north — lots of hilly country.
He really laid out his desire to make changes that will lift the poor and unemployed. Safety and Police protection were big issues...Giuliani spoke of repeating the NY success all over the country.

It may be only 7 AM on the west coast but I am at 10 am and no imaginary breakfast...I AM HUNGRY!

I happened across it this morning and thought it was adorable too.
Sometimes I think I could adopt them all.
I know better than to go near adoption shelters. I send food ( Buy one/Get one free means one for them too)and donate small dollar amounts, but stay away personally.
I know what you mean. All three of our are rescues. Every time my wife sees a new one at the rescue site she says “Isn’t she precious. But yes honey, I know we already have all we can handle”. LOL.
Now that is a thermometer...not a digital one either!
