From what we've been told, Trump is very loyal. Lewandowski did right by Trump. I'm glad Trump doesn't operate on the “Peter's Principle”..: “managers rise to the level of their incompetence.” I think Trump knows when a person has reached the height of their abilities, so it's time to bring in someone else with a different skill set. Promoting Lewandowski would not have been productive for either party. If we think about it, this is exactly what happened to H. Clinton... She has truly reached the level of her incompetence.... Probably it happened when she became Sec. of State.

During an interview with Fox News, Trump was asked about his upcoming intelligence briefing and whether he does "trust intelligence."

"Not so much from the people that have been doing it for our country. Look what's happened over the last ten years. Look what's happened over the years. It's been catastrophic," he said in response. "And in fact, I won't use some of the people that are sort of your standards, you know, just use them, use them, use them. Very easy to use them, but I won't use them because they've made such bad decisions."

Re Bob Hope; not a lot I like him in. But he had great chemistry with Goddard and Virginia Mayo (?) Princess and the Pirate. I get Rhonda Flemming confused with Mayo.

Margaret Ruthford just had “it” for Miss Marple, too bad Christy felt that way.

Glad you enjoyed your kiddos! I didn’t remember how long they were staying. We are on travel till Sat for hubbys work. Looking forward to next couple days, but admit I’m missing our girls.

Thank you for posting this. What he said during the interview makes a lot of sense. Very different from the what is being reported in the press. The press makes it sounds like he’s going to avoid using any US intelligence agencies.

That is nearly always the case. Sometimes it takes considerable effort to get to the bottom of a story, but the misrepresentations of Trump (and related issues, e.g., Mr. Vickers on the 2nd amendment thing) are "in your face."

One will never go wrong assuming the press is 100% dishonest.
