Title truncated due to character limits.

Not even sure where to begin with this poll. First, I can't fathom any poll that would have Hillary leading men, much less in a sample of 2,000. Trump's favorables are supposed to be at an all time high yet he picks up 2 points overall. Hillary is only getting 83% Democrats yet is still up by 7 because Trump is only getting 77% Republicans.

Overall, a good piece of news in a weekend of raw sewage served up by the media. However, the overall tone of this piece is of course all negative. Given the self reported splits I would say this is about a D+5 or D+6 poll. I would expect the USC/Dornsife and the the UPI/CVoter poll to show upticks again by Tuesday assuming this trend is holding. Polling was completed today so I would guess that he had a good last 2 nights.

The media got their talking points right after the convention by the Clinton campaign and have not rested since.

Clinton must be laughing like mad at how ignorant voters are and how stupid the media are to never hold her responsible.

According to the evening news, Trump has a deficit of a few points in battleground states, one of them being OH. Quite of us in battleground states have remarked that hillary's constant TV ads which strive to frame Trump as a bad choice are having an impact. They're aired over and over, with no significant counter from Trump. After awhile, more casual voters start to believe them. I'm wondering if the "hillary lead" isn't the impact many of us feared. With the low interest voters they're wearing down, it's probably important to do some advertising to reframe the argument before football season and school activites start, or we've lost them.

That's my take on it, anyway.

If Hill is 15 OTS ahead, why is the MSM on suicide watch over Trump everyday?

Another chapter in the Demoralize Trump Voters playbook.

I have an idea. How about refraining from posting these mediaglobalistelite
hit pieces so as not to carry their water for them.

National polls will skew in favor of democrats. Because larger blue states such as CA & NY & IL have huge surplus democrat votes.

For example CA had 5 million votes advantage for democrats in one presidential election cycle! Electorally, that is a lot of surplus unneeded votes.

So it all boils down to purple states. If the poll was limited to just FL, OH, NC, WI, NV, PA, IA then it would mean a heckuva lot more.

the polls are trying to manage expectations.

are they close? let’s check.

when there are two candidates, it comes down to both sides pulling out their base, trying to pull from their opponents base, while wrestling over the middle. with that in mind, look at the two candidates:

Trump — no one from the right will vote for hillary. all but a small group (the cruzies) will vote for him, and he’d score at least 50% of the independents. as a bonus, he will be pulling the blue collar vote, as he’s known as the blue collar billionaire

Hillary — she has a problem bring out her base, as 50% supported Bernie and now know she rigged the election. she might get half their vote. she won’t pull anything from the right, as they hate her w/ a passion, and she might get 40% of the independents (again, the BernOuts are very pissed off).

As you can see, she isn’t doing well at all. but what about those polls?

fictional. they’re designed to try and sway your opinion, to cast doubt on Trump and his campaign

The elites control the media, they control the polls, they control the voting machines, they control the laws, the politicians, and the banking system. They create wars for their benefit. In the past wars were fought outside of the USA but now they are importing people that will bring the wars directly into the USA. They need the instability in order to control the people. This is so obvious and yet people do not really want to believe that this is really going on. They are doing it in Europe and it will soon happen here in the USA. The second amendment is the only thing that is stopping the elites. It’s just a matter of time before the supreme court weakens the second amendment to the point that people will not be able to defend themselves anymore.

“Clinton maintains her advantage over Trump among men — 43 percent to 41 percent”.

I got this far. There is no way on earth that more men support the crooked bitch of Benghazi over Trump. Ain’t happening.

Independents remain evenly divided, with one-third opting for Clinton and another third backing Trump. Clinton maintains her advantage over Trump among men — 43 percent to 41 percent — and boasts an 11-point lead among women: 45 percent to 34 percent.

I do not find this poll a credible extrapolation of the larger voting public. Clinton up by 2 among men is not credible, neither is Trump only down by 11 among women.

I have no use for Frank *bad toupee* Luntz; yesterday I caught him on Fox [I know...I know...] and for the first time his gibberish made sense.

He was asked what DJT should do to close the gap; it amounted to five points: Don’t use *I* again [ say I am your voice]; announce a forensic audit of the Federal budget in first 100 days; return to his original themes; focus on wasteful Washington spending; don’t go off message; focus on accountability.

It all seemed spot on to me.

Wow... Just wow. I hope these guys got paid very well for this never land fantasy. Can not imagine how many sample points they had to disqualify to get these results.

There is no way a boozy old broad like Hillary is leading Trump with men. Every poll I have seen shoiws Trump leading with Indies by 11-14 pts.
