If you’re ever involved in something like this - you hit someone but believe your life in danger if you stay - you are legally allowed to leave the scene and drive to the nearest police station to report the accident.

Usually you have to stay, but there are exceptions. People shooting at you = an exception.

Media in Miami is all over this, as a former Miami cop is now the police chief in Ferguson.

Still pumping the idea that Brown was an innocent victim, never mentioning the fact that Brown assaulted the police officer.
