There was a time when people like Glenn Beck, Mark Levin, and Erick Erickson were powerful voices within the Conservative movement. That was BT or Before Trump, when most American Conservatives were asleep at the wheel and operating on status quo neo-conservative autopilot, completely unaware that the maverick radio voices we hailed as rebels, were actually globalist shills-for-hire.
The silent majority was silent because we were napping, however, Trump has awakened the slumbering giant and were hip to the globalist trick played upon us by so-called radio conservatives, politicians, media, and pundits, who subtly pepper falsehoods like, amnesty is good, trade is fine, debt is just part of life, and nation building is patriotic throughout their schtick.
Yes, the slumber is over and the alt right is gleefully humming a tune commonly blasted at Trump rallies.
Were not gonna take it .Anymore.
One result of this awakening, is the downfall of several once powerful radio voices men whose egos are so immense and selfish that the very essence of their global schtick TRUMPED ethics, honesty, and common sense.
They all have one thing in common they each made the same mistake on the way to Irrelvence Island.
They joined NeverTrump.
Glenn Beck
Crazy Glenn Beck spent over half a million of his own dollars to try and get Ted Cruz elected. However, in the end all the money, fasting, and nazi-namecalling added up to a big fat zero. Cruz failed, NeverTrump never mattered, and Becks media empire crumbled (like a plate of crushed Cheetos).
Ben Shapiro
Once revered as the future voice of conservatism, Ben Shapiro was a beacon of hope within the conservative movement. However, everything changed for Ben when he decided to go NeverTrump and throw his career out the window to defend proven liar, Michelle Fields (see stories here, here, and here).
Erick Erickson
The moment Erick Erickson started bashing Trump two things happened. Firstly, he started resembling a thumb and secondly his career fell apart. Erickson went from being hailed as a powerful voice of conservatism to huffing and puffing all over Twitter, bitching about Trump with fellow NeverTrump dropkick Rick Wilson (another talentless hack who looks like a thumb).
Mark Levin
During the GOP primary we discovered that Mark Levin will support anyone as long as they promise to buy his dumb books. Levin went on a screaming-mimmy tirade for the last 3 months of Ted Cruzs race to loserville, bashing Trump and proudly stating he was NeverTrump. Since then, Levins ratings have tanked.
Hugh Hewitt
Hugh Hewit looks like a cross between Phil Donahue, George McFly, and Justin Bieber. His claim to fame was trying to trip Tump up with a gotcha question about some preposterously unknown faction of the Iraqi Army. Since then hes spent his time on the radio looking for ways to help Hillary and losing listeners.
Honorable mentions go to Rush Limbaugh and Dana Loesch. Rush has never gone full dumbo and declared himself NeverTrump, although his actions have us wondering. On the other hand, dopey Dana claims shes not a NeverTrumper (she is) however, she warns us that mean Trump supporters may push her there.
The thing that thrills me most is these that use the word ‘conservative’ to fill their bank accounts will not take one thin dime when the worms eat their flesh. They all remind me of the parable of the ‘rich’ man.
You are welcome :)

Liberal media bias has long been an open secret. But now its so bad that even a liberal mainstream newspaper notes that, in an effort to destroy Donald Trump, the media have jumped the shark. by Selwyn Duke
Clinton vs. Trump? No, Its the Media vs. America - http://www.thenewamerican.com/usnews/politics/item/23800-clinton-vs-trump-no-it-s-the-media-vs-america
“I have no idea how Ben Shapiro was every considered a future star in the conservative movement.
“While I find him to be intelligent, his presentation is absolutely awful. Hes the smartest kid in the sixth grade, and nobody liked that kid then and nobody likes that kid now.
Lol! “smartest kid in the sixth grade”... hilarious, it fits Little Ben exactly.
“I know what I hear, and I have heard Rush supporting Trump frequently.”
I am of the same opinion.
It has occurred to me to wonder if some people don’t see this as a chance to chip away at Limbaugh’s audience by leveling these accusations.
If we are disillusioned with Levin, then we will be disillusioned with Limbaugh, if only they can convince us that Limbaugh is nevertrump.
“Stephen Moore is the good guy.”
Did you read post 200?....I sure wouldn’t call him a ‘good guy’...he’s fought every attempt to secure that border for decades. I know nothing about your Stephen Hayes.
It won’t just be these pro-establishment talking heads whose careers will be ruined. Many GOP establishment political heads will roll for their failure to endorse the Republican nominee, or for their lackluster endorsement. Nothing will give me more pleasure than the sight of Paul Ryan, Mitt Romney, Jeb Bush, and Elmer Gantry Ted’s heads rolling after this election.
The conservative movement is in very bad shape. I recall hearing Charles Krauthammer say that this season of GOP presidential primary candidates was the strongest it’s been in a long while, maybe ever. They always came across to me as a collection of hapless also rans, vying for the coveted opportunity to win 190 electoral votes, give a magnanimous and forgettable concession speech, and then vanish.
Our side has to do much better.
Rush has always been a never Hillary . Never a never trumper .
Apparently you haven’t listened to limbaugh for the last four months.
Keep in mind that back in 1984 Charles Krauthammer was writing speeches for Walter Mondale in the attempt to deny Ronald Reagan a second term. Yet somehow that clown has managed to pass himself off as a conservative authority, due in large part to his fellow neocon phonies touting him.
I listen every day except weekends .
Hugh Hewitt was at Sea Island as part of the Stop Trump plot that didn’t go anywhere despite their best efforts.
Early last summer Hugh was loudly anti-Trump on his little radio show. That attitude stopped when Trump began giving Hewitt weekly interviews. But don’t be fooled, Hewitt is the poster boy for GOP establishment weasels.
Back in 1994 when he dropped his carpet bags in California grass roots voters were fighting to pass Prop 187, our anti-illegal immigration bill. Hewitt joined the GOPe treason lobby in siding with illegal aliens and opposing us. That’s the real Hugh Hewitt, always has been.
If you still come here then this thread is a must read. How do you call yourself a constitutionalist and lend aid to Hillary Clinton?
True but he was not a Trump supporter
He clearly favored Cruz or unbelievably Rubio
Los dos guajiros
You’re not dwelling in the past are you ? :-)
I listen most days and even pay for podcasts on 24/7
But I have a different view of beluga head
Too late re: Hewitt. Once credibility is gone, it’s gone. We have no reason to listen to him anymore (much less his frequent guest, Bill Kristol).
I didn't know that... pretty damning stuff. thanks for sharing Relham.
