Trump endorses House Speaker Paul Ryan; Expresses support for McCain and Ayotte...
It’s a strategic move, nothing more. He is the bigger man. Now, no one can blame him for their possible primary defeat. Another beautiful move by Trump.
And you are detached from reality.
Donald get rid of your establishment hack advisors now.
And now he’s just blabbing on off-script and I guarantee you he says something stupid that’ll be talked about for a week. I’m voting for him but he has no discipline whatsoever. He’s made his point, he’s tired and needs to call it a night. This is when CNN will follow each and every word he says to try and get something on him. I’m just damn tired of it.
If he got the #NT asswipes to shut up and work forhis election, I will take it. Nothing matters if the Witch wins.
It looks like Trump is just choosing his battles with care. When you are already being lied about by the DNC and the media you really don’t need more open attacks from the GOPe. Newter fired a couple of shots across Trump’s bow this week. The message was received and Trump avoided fighting on a third front for now.
If we do our job Ryan will not be there in January.
What he did was take the medias latest 24/7 talking point off the table.
Not really. Now the talking point will be Ryan snubs Trump as Trump endorses him in his home state.
Even we had to ally with Stalin to defeat Hitler.
You can say that again.
You can say that again.
You can say that again.
Snooot should be happy now.
Trump needs to lose or win on his own unwatered down message.
He didn't "snub" Trump. I live near GB and there are over 10,000 people packed in downtown as I am here now. Ryan just didn't decide to join Trump.
Trump gave a good shout-out to Nehlen earlier in the week. The endorsement of Ryan, if you want to call it that, is simply political party formality and Trump's way of telling Ryan to play ball and stop with this concern trolling.
Supporters of Nehlen aren't going to change their minds, just like supporters of Ward, or whoever is running against Ayeotte. I am praying that Ryan loses his seat, but if he doesn't...that's less globalist and Chamber of Commerce influence he'll have. Nehlen made Ryan his B--ch, and for that I'm happy.
Except that now Cruz supporters are going to support Cruz’ non-endorsement of Ryan, which is going to cause another rift. And for once, I agree with Cruz.
Trump should have stayed out of the primary. Let the voters of their districts and States make the decision. Trump knows we don’t have any other place to go. No one here is going to vote lying Hillary. But I hate to be taken for granted. I really thought he would listen to his supporters, but he listened to the political machine instead.
Here we go with the cutsie cutsie politics, Trumps unvarnished appeal got its first coat.
Hope you get over it real soon.
Don’t worry about Nehlen. He’s a no hoper, IMO. Ryan is the Golden Child Speaker. He’s not going down. This could really hurt Kelli Ward though. She’s running a solid campaign and really giving McStain a run for his money. And of course McCain will not reciprocate Trump’s help.
He is trying to beat Hillary. I don’t think that he is betraying who he is - he is too accomplished and wealthy to have to do that. It isn’t in his personality.
Still, I hope Nehlen wins.
Unity. Blehhh. UNity is what got us to this f ed up place.
Nonsense. Trump saw the writing on the wall. I'm sure this decision was based on internal polling data. Nehlen is a relative unknown and was not going to win, with or without Trump's endorsement.
If Nehlen lost after receiving a Trump endorsement (and he would have), the Media would have had a field day.
Paul Ryan is a member of the Party and Speaker of the House of Representatives, and the party's Vice Presidential candidate in 2012.
Ryan's policy positions, while not ideal, certainly include several conservative stances. As lukewarm as he's been, maybe this will bring him fully aboard the Trump train.
Trump properly decided not to hand another club to the Media to beat him with. I think it was the smart decision.
Vote Trump!
He goes after McCain and you’ll complain that he’s off message and needs to focus on Hillary. We know the game.
