Khan's latest attack on Trump:
"Running for president is not an entitlement to disrespect Gold Star families and [a] Gold Star mother not realizing her pain. Shame on him! Shame on his family!" Khizr Khan said, struggling to hold back his anger. "He is not worthy of our comments. He has no decency. He is void of decency, he has a dark heart."

Well they found this election’s useful Cindy Sheehan type prop. Has open mic to say whatever they want but unimpeachable to return fire. A rigged primary no longer a story, covered up and this will drone on for days. I give Trump another 1 to 2 point bump because as always, the media, the democrats and the marginalized GOP pundit class will overdo it. They always overdo until the next bright shiny object shows up.
Like a cat chasing a dancing laser pointer, the enemies are rather predictable and easily led. Maybe Trump has always known this and it’s how he keeps his name in front. He creates a little spark and they douse with gasoline. Doesn’t seem to sweat the onslaught much. It’s working; he beat out 16 other GOPers and is now leading is some polls while spending a fraction of what others have. I have no advice to give or that he’d want - all I want to do is beat this Hillary thing so I am fine with whatever it takes. Someone like Rubio would have wilted long ago.
As an aside, the latest PPP poll is plus D+8 on sample and Hillary up only 5. She’s not winning. The vitriol is steadily increasing, perhaps from knowing that Hillary is in trouble. The GOPe never Trump folks are especially losing their minds and rather angry. I hope that anger is because they are being put out to pasture; learning they have little influence and impact. They think they are purging us and almost violently say they are purging us but actually we are purging them. They are part of what has lost 5 of the last 6 popular presidential popular votes.
YOU ARE 100 percent RIGHT!!!
I went there and read hundredsd tonight and they were all great and decent!!!
I Expected to find all these twitters about this guy Khan and there were none!!
I was wrong.
I apologize for overreacting. But Twitter still RAN with it and I gave them heck but got frustrated and gave up.
He can’t say anything without being under the microscope.
Next time i will know better.
I learned a good lesson. Next time I let left wing twitter idiots get me super frustrated and then get me to question the donald, i’ll take a xanax and go to bed.
Many are not used to this kind of attack, so we’re waiting for this avalanche that never comes!! And that’s great!!
But it takes some getting used to.
The media will squeeze this like a lemon until every last drop is gone. Then Hillary will make a campaign commercial, and the media will bring the whole thing up again when they talk about the commercial. I know because this is the press that spent so much time on that stupid Heidi Cruz retweet that was a response to an attack against Melania and to the judge comments which they still use for an argument whenever they can slip them in.
“The problem here is this guy is a very obvious trap that Trump should have ignored.”
That’s my point in saying that he hasn’t learned much in over a year. He keeps walking into these traps and then lets the MSM trap him again. In regards to parents of fallen soldiers, he had a perfect mom in Patricia Smith who was willing to go out there and give it her all at the convention..want to know what Trump was doing while she was up there...he was calling into Bill O’Reilly’s show pulling the coverage off her; he was stepping on his own programming
He’s giving up the same voters that he just won over at the convention. Personally I think Trump should be leading by double digits by now...he just keeps hurting himself.
I’m an anti-Clinton voter, just to be clear. I would hope I wasn’t such a zealot for a candidate that I couldn’t recognize that handing ammo to the enemy is a bad idea.
Independents are a skittish group and subject to be easily swayed more to the left which is where they usually are already inclined. I’m looking forward to Trump’s ads against Hillary; they should be extremely entertaining for us and crushing for the Clintons.
Trump has hired smart people to give him advice; hopefully he’ll listen to them.
True, I’m not particularly smart (and never said I was), but I’m sane enough to not run for POTUS. One has to be slightly bonkers to do that.
Kevin Jackson of the Black Sphere website has some great things to say...
Khan was a disgrace,
just one of thousands of parents overwhelming not moslem
Kabuki theatre...

The Mexican Judge correlated with his worst showing in the polls. The problem is that it was not articulated properly, and I can’t recall a formal statement being put out. Corey was in charge at that point. In this case, Trump has put out a statement already. If Trump sticks to that statement and drives it home all week at his rallies, that will help greatly.
Don’t get worked up about it. We’re electing a leader not a politician. Trump’s not going to stop being Trump so you’re going to have to take the good with the bad.
Calm down and attack Hillary instead. Expose her lies and corrupt. Trump just released a slew of good talking points. Use them.
All we’ve heard is sensationalist out-of-context soundbites and it looks like a lot of people are freaking out, just like ABC et al planned.
So, let’s set the record straight. Full statement about Kahn and full transcript of Steponalotofit:

I thought the NY Post endorsed Trump. I think it’s disgraceful what they did, and I want to know why.
Trump didn’t/doesn’t have anything to do with this, other than the fact he was against going into Iraq and stated so a year ago.
The President does have the right to ban immigration from countries he perceives to be a threat. Obama even did so at one point.
Ask the victims and the victim’s families of the Ft. Hood shooter how they feel about vetting muslims for the military.
ya know I was thinking...
would the soldier son have insulted and been rude to his commander-in-Chief like the father was ???
Trump has a good chance of being the next CinC...
The son did not serve under Obama...
and unless he went in the US military under Clinton, he chose to serve under a Republican president, Bush...
Would the son have been insubordinate to President Bush ???
I would think the son would be appalled and ashamed of his father for speaking that way to any man...let alone the upcoming leader of our nation and the free world ...
The only way to break the camel’s back(no pun intended) is to keep piling it on. Eventually, the media will crack up just as the Democrats and GOPe’s are doing now.
With all due respect, the elder Khan is far more Muslim than he is American. Waving that constitution brought nothing to his argument, nothing but theatrics. There are so many things wrong with his view that space does not allow to define them all. But again, a template propagated by the left that Trump will not succumb to and will again be proven correct on his simple but true statements. He said nothing to denigrate the elder Khan but instead focused on his using religion to bludgeon Trump with no, absolutely no cause or basis of fact other than the news media template that again only tells half the story.
Capt. Khan along with his family emigrated to this country LEGALLY, as far as we know. When they did, it was a far different world but still the seeds were sown for the problems we have today, especially with the group ISIS publicly stating they are infiltrating the refugee hordes with nefarious ends at plan. The government is doing nothing to vet them like I’m sure the elder Khan was, but maybe I’m wrong and he wasn’t, which is even a bigger problem.
Between the attacks of Sgt. Akbar and Nadil Hassan, I’d say the numbers are higher than 15 when you add in the potential for others that don’t immediately come to mind.
And then add those who died looking for the Islamist sympathizer Bowe Bergdahl.
Well, in fairness, Trump hasn’t been elected yet, and obviously he wants Hillary for his commander in chief. I think the father was upset about Trump’s Muslim ban which is actually (according to Trump), not a specific ban on Muslims but on immigration from countries with a high instance of terrorism (at least until we can get rid of as much of ISIS as possible and/or until we can get a proper vetting system down. That was the key point that Trump needs to get across to the father, and while the media is ignoring this, if you hear the snippet of the upcoming George S. interview, Trump did say to the father why he was proposing this ban with regard to terrorism. Trump put out a statement last night explaining this in an effort to heed off this now media firestorm. One thing I think Trump should have added to his statement is that Kahn’s son died fighting Islamic terrorism abroad so that it didn’t come here. Trump wants to make sure that it doesn’t come here, that people who ascribe to radical Islamic terrorism don’t come here, because that is a threat to Americans like the Kahns and doesn’t honor the memory of tose like Kahn’s son who fought to keep radical Islamic terrorism off our shores.
I got DESTROYED on this board overnight. Called names I had to look up!!
In retrospect, Trump’s comment about mom and the ensuing explosion on Twitter will have no effect on the elction.
I wish I had never said anything :)
I, like many others, am still not used to the fghting back and swinging hard, so I go over the top with anxiety and questioning why he said this or that.
I mean no ill will and it hurts to be called a fake or concern troll or a lot more worse things :), especially when i spend four days a week making calls for the guy and give him my hard earned money.
Next time I will just move onto the next thread.
This is who Trump is. It’s worked so far.
yep.
And those that may be on the payroll for the enemy and may have set up our men. It’s certainly feasible.
