Bernie Sanders quits the Democratic Party and will return to being an independent
Bernie Sanders has returned to being an independent senator in Vermont
He was an independent before running for president as a Democrat
Clinton will hope to retain some of the 13million who voted for Sanders
Sanders also called for 'new personnel' at the top of the Democratic Party
Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz was forced to resign following leaked emails showed bias against him.
Bernie Sanders has quit the Democrats and will return to life as an independent senator after losing the race for the party's presidential nomination to Hillary Clinton.
Sanders was an independent before running for president and appeared uncomfortable calling himself a Democrat during his campaign.
'I was elected as an independent. Ill stay two years more as an independent,' the socialist told Bloomberg, referring to the time left in his term as a senator in Vermont.

Royally...Trying to force them to vote for Hillary.
Bernie did not even wait until a week after the convention. IMO that was a big FU to Hillary and the DNC.
Exactly, making Bernie the biggest sellout you can find. However, as I think about it, there is an alternate explanation: Bernie's revenge on Her Heinous and the party for stealing the nomination from him by rigging the game is to appear as the biggest sellout you can find to completely disillusion his followers and cause them to abandon her, taking their 12 million votes to the Green Party or their couches. Hmm.
Am I wrong in hoping he will now get on the ballot as an Independent party? Wouldn’t that take from Hillary if he did?
Yeah, that sums it up.
I would take a guess that fifty-percent of the Bernie voters won’t vote in the fall....because of disenchantment with the way this fell. In the end,it was so fake, that you just sit there and laugh.
Right now, the Bernistas are setting up a demonstration at the DNC where there will be a mass exit from the party, so this isn’t surprising. It’s gonna be an interesting afternoon/evening.
And in other news...
That it is. Some of those folks traveled a long way to attend and aren't going to go home without making their feelings known. And so far She Who Must Not Be Named has shown no particular inclination to placate them.
And with that ends Burnout’s grand FU to the dhimmicrap party. I hope y’all were as entertained as I was!
He just might. Or when Trump gets his ass handed to him will go back to the democratic party. We all revert to the mean buddy!
Bernie is 74 and in apparently good health.
I’m sure he appreciates his good health and wishes to keep it that way. No sense in continuing the fight against Clinton when nothing but bad things will come of it. That would be a lose-lose proposition.
actually, he was never a democrat. At best he was a faux democrat
She Who Must Not Be Named doesn't want to even acknowledge the fact that the protesters exist. She's no doubt hidden away self-medicating in her Safe Space, pretending they're not there, because the last thing she wants to do is get to face to face with the protesters.
Especially on Day 4, the climactic moment when the sh@t hits the fan big time, where the unhappy Bernie supporters sulk off and drift back to their dorm rooms, and the Black Bloc anarchists really come out and strut their stuff...
Lotta "faux" going on over there.
More leaked Clinton email. Her ratings go down. Bernie runs only to lose to Trump.
GOOD
You've had a rough week by anyone's standards. You have worked your tail off all year for a shot at the nomination only to find out you were undermined by 'friends?' You need a break, time off, cool your heals maybe some golf. What you really need now is some Palestinian Chicken!
Enjoy Bernie!
