Hillary's sole purpose in life is the acquisition of power, specifically, seizing control of the White House. If she were convinced that Bernie Sanders were the only way to achieve that goal, she would have chosen him-just like JFK picked LBJ, despite mutual animosity.

The problem is that Hillary has surrounded herself with sycophants and toadies, none of whom have the guts to stand up to her and tell her that she might need to appeal beyond her base of stridently feminist, baby boomer women.
