#DarkSpeechesMatter
It should come as no surprise that the news media is a colluding source of pure propaganda in modern America. To reinforce the idea, please examine the following headlines and see if you can spot the similarity:
- New York Times: His Tone Dark, Donald Trump Takes G.O.P. Mantle -- By PATRICK HEALY and JONATHAN MARTIN -- JULY 21, 2016
- Boston Globe: The dark, frightening America of Donald Trump> -- By Michael A. Cohen -- JULY 22, 2016
- Chicago Tribune: Fact-checking Donald Trump's convention speech: A dark vision based on specious stats -- By Glenn Kessler, Michelle Ye Hee Lee -- July 21 9:09PM
- Politico: Trump and the Dark Art of Bad Publicity -- By MICHAEL KRUSE July 21, 2016
- From Newsbusters: Networks on Trump: A Dark Speech From a Vengeful Demagogue The three networks on Thursday night immediately derided Donald Trumps dark speech as one coming from a vengeful demagogue. Chuck Todd labeled, I thought it was an extraordinarily dark speech. On ABC, George Stephanopoulos, a former Democratic operative, echoed his colleague Chuck Todd: He [Trump] painted a dark picture of where America stands today. For emphasis, Stephanopoulos repeated, And Martha Raddatz, a pretty dark speech.
- USA Today: It was a dark and stormy Trump convention: Our view --
- Slate: The Dark, Resentful Voice Behind Trumps RNC Speech -- By Jim Newell -- JULY 22 2016 12:58 AM
- Rolling Stone: Donald Trump Delivers Dark, Fear-Mongering RNC Speech -- By Tessa Stuart --3 hours ago
You can be forgiven, dear reader, if the similarity you spotted was that the news was delivered in an unabashedly biased, anti-Trump, utterly unfair manner in which the headlines bore no resemblance whatsoever to the speech we heard.
But that is not the point I was trying to demonstrate. It is the repetitive use of the word dark in the headlines and the utterances of the media shills. It is so pervasive, that it can be deduced that there was collusion, and that the media gathered together to agree upon some theme that would damage Trump the most.
Apparently they settled on the word dark, and most probably well before the Trump speech was delivered or the contents even known.
Some time back, there was a leaked scandal that media collusion was real, and that more than 400 journalists would gather at a secret forum called JournOList, in which they would hash out the prevailing news meme of the day.
If this is not propaganda, what is?
The news media has abandoned even the pretense of being unbiased, and now engages in full-throated left-wing propaganda from every channel and every source.
It is time to break up the left-wing monopoly over the press. I suggest the use of Antitrust laws.
There is an unholy alliance that is directed at Donald Trump, and it is unfair, collusive, and obvious. This cannot stand, after all, #DarkSpeechesMatter.

Words & music by Stephen Collins Foster (1826-1864)
1.
The sun shines bright in the old Kentucky home,
‘Tis summer, the darkies are gay,
The corn top’s ripe and the meadows in the bloom,
While the birds make music all the day.
The young folks roll on the little cabin floor,
All merry, all happy and bright:
By’n by Hard Times comes a knocking at the door,
Then my old Kentucky Home, good night!
CHORUS
Weep no more, my lady,
Oh! weep no more to-day!
We will sing one song for the old Kentucky Home,
For the old Kentucky Home far away.

Someone’s gotta post “Old Folks At Home.”
Yeah, the heart grows weary. That’s what we need the Toupee to fix.

With the start of the second hour, I realized why I don’t waste time listening to Rush Limbaugh anymore. That ego is so large that he cannot bring himself to not talk down to the man Republicans have nominated for the presidency. What a blowhard egomaniac!

Others have posted song lyrics. I posted this on another thread last night:
Whoever thought to use “You Can’t Always Get What You Want” by the Stones as the closing song is a genius.
The last verse chopped Horlary off at the knees:
“I saw her today at the reception.
In her glass was a bleeding man.
She was practiced at the art of deception.
I could tell by her blood-stained hands.”

Well, it is an American Classic. Today we wonder if the man was aware of his blatant political correctness.
Imagine......”the darkies are gay” . Who does that statement insult the most?
Then there are the millennials....... positively sexual fiends lacking the good sense to roll around in a bed. “The young folks roll on the little cabin floor”.
But “By’n by Hard Times comes a knocking at the door,” and we send Donald Trump to answer the knock

Sounds like they had to give up the Old Kentucky Home due to the hard times. Funny he should highlight the slave (or servant?) cabin as that bright spot there. Wonder what happened to the poor darkies when the Old Kentucky Home had to be abandoned or sold.

“Gay” got stolen from the English language. It used to mean lighthearted and merry.
