With start of the Democratic National Convention just three days away, Democratic groups are expressing dismay that Hillary Rodham Clinton is neck and neck with Donald Trump in the polls.
"Were PANICKED, friends," said an email shot from the Democratic Governors Association.
The group and other Clinton supporters are concerned about the polls and the new analysis by numbers guru Nate Silver showing Clinton's lead down to three points.
The RealClearPolitics average is even worse. Today's analysis has Clinton's lead at 2.8 points.
"This is not good," said the DGA fundraising email.

Nate Silver just confirmed that Donald Trump could be our next president – and polls show him within single digits in key swing states (Pennsylvania, Ohio, Florida). Meanwhile, 92,038 people still haven't activated their DGA memberships to help increase Democratic turnout across the country.
This is NOT good. If we lose these swing states, Donald Trump becomes president and Republicans will defund Planned Parenthood, slash Social Security and deport millions of families. We can only win if we know NOW that top Dems like you are committed to fighting.
Will they panic enough to pull the ‘indictment’ lever and ‘Torricelli’ her? Surely Lautenberg or some other suitable corpse is up for another weekend at Bernie’s.

Regarding polls, I’ve always heard that campaigns and political parties have “internal” polls, which are said to have larger and more accurate samples than the polls reported by the MSM. And that these internals go deeper and ask more in depth questions to gauge voter opinion and attitudes.
So it could well be that the internal.polling trends are devastating for Hillary.
It's as old a regurgitated Dem scare tactic as Republicans will destroy the planet with dirty air and dirty water!

It wouldn’t surprise me. Or, they take the number from their generic poll but then throw out data they don’t like, leaving the result they want...maybe they’re having to throw out too many!
This election will be sewn up with the first debate. People just don’t LIKE Mrs. Clinton.
She reminds men of the aloof harpy that was never happy with anything that they dated or (even worse) married and then joyfully divorced.
She reminds women of the humorless, awkward know-it-all that they laughed about at the high school dance that she was not at, because once again she did not have a date.
And she reminds EVERYONE of the really b-—hy teacher they had at some point growing up.
She will not be able to help herself — she will slip into lecture mode at some point, hoping to educate us neanderthals into seeing sweet reason. That will be put on full display the sociopathic, unfeeling, arrogant b-—h that she really is. And it will be all over but the counting at that point.
