Tried to have a night in Louisville but couldn't get across any of the 4 bridges this evening. Traffic almost stopped on 3 of the 4 bridges.
I think I'm undecided on the Kennedy assassination mainly because of the Jackie and Onassis marriage. It just seemed possible to think she married him for protection from People here.
Nah. It was all about the money.
Do you remember, after they killed Bobby, that she was heard to say she needed to leave the US with her children because “They’re killing Kennedys”. I remember that.
>>Nah. It was all about the money.

True, but I think Jackie herself was truly frightened even more when Bobby was killed.
Nice news! He sound like a free thinker that will grow to think on his own more and go to our side.
One little boy puts up his hand. Hillary asks him what his name is.
"Kenneth," he says. "And what is your question, Kenneth?" she asks.
"I have three questions," he says.
"First -- whatever happened in Benghazi?
"Second -- why would you run for president if you are not capable of handling two e-mail accounts?
"And, third -- whatever happened to the missing six billion dollars while you were Secretary of State?"
Just then the bell rings for recess. Hillary informs the kiddies that they will continue after recess.
When they resume Hillary says, "Okay, where were we? Oh, that's right, question time. Who has a question?"
A different boy -- little Johnny -- puts his hand up. Hillary points to him and asks him what his name is.
"Johnny," he says.
"And what is your question, Johnny?" she asks.
"I have five questions," he says. "First -- whatever happened in Benghazi?
"Second -- why would you run for president if you are not capable of handling two e-mail accounts?
"Third -- whatever happened to the missing six billion dollars while you were Secretary of State?
"Fourth -- why did the recess bell go off 20 minutes early?
"And, fifth -- where's Kenneth?"
Exactly. Thinking like a mother who needed to protect her cubs. Onasis (and his money) gave her the ability to do just that!
Yes, Jefferson made it clear that there would NOT be a a STATE/NATIONAL religion; however, after we became a nation of states, there was NOT to be any state religion either!
And You're SO off re the religions of the New England*, Pa., and New York states religious composition, it's laughable!
I don't like to nit pick, but you were the one who began the picking of nits, erroneously.
* Jefferson's letter re THE SEPARATION BETWEEN STATE AND CHURCH, was written to THE ELDERS OF THE BAPTIST CHURCH OF DANBURY, CT. ! And at that Time, Danbury was larger in area than it is today, encompassing Bethel and Brookfield. Those Baptists were a BIG DEAL around here, NOT "PURTIANS".
And as far as N.Y. is concerned, since it began as a Dutch settlement, and they were Dutch reformed Protestants, that was a biggie. So were Episcopalians, Methodists ( Charles Wesley, himself, dedicated one of the earliest Methodist churches in the colonies, on Church Street; where my kiddo was christened ), CofE, and yes, some Jews. Now whilst it is true that the first Jews arrived in the original colonies in 1655, it is NOT at all true that they all set up residence in NYC, or even N.Y. state. Some went off to Philly, Rhode Island, and down South.
There's much more to this religious affiliation and states, but I suggest that you do your own scut work; or I could charge you for the rest of it. :-)

Class Dismissed!
: )
Perfect.
There really IS much, much more to it, but I have better ways of spending my time. :-)
Oh...and FWIW, Germans didn't hit these shores till later, so Lutheran churches weren't in N.Y. early on. :-)
Makes me feel kind of bad for her.
I’m not sure I realized she was so scared.
Worse...they believe that we never made it to the moon and that the murders in Newtown either never happened or was staged by Obama.
I am hoping! He is stubborn.
Have you ever considered being videotaped expounding on your vast knowledge, nopardons?
I say this seriously. I was just thinking that your grandchild’s children and their children, etc. would be so thrilled to hear their ancestor schooling them on history, religion, politics, etc. I can’t imagine a more wonderful gift to them, a beautiful legacy of their ancestor (YOU!).
Nope...it was to get herself and the kids away from the grip of the Kennedy family, whom she detested and saw as barbarians.
Thanks for the amazing threads!
Enjoyed it all!
