Oh...and FWIW, Germans didn't hit these shores till later, so Lutheran churches weren't in N.Y. early on. :-)

I say this seriously. I was just thinking that your grandchild’s children and their children, etc. would be so thrilled to hear their ancestor schooling them on history, religion, politics, etc. I can’t imagine a more wonderful gift to them, a beautiful legacy of their ancestor (YOU!).
