I hate to say it, but I have to think he lied to Trump’s face and told him he would endorse.

Trump seems to prize loyalty and trust; he trusted him. I was not watching physically but my son told me his face looked like someone hit him. I think he really stabbed Trump in the back on this one. This says a lot to his character.

Hopefully someone will post a link to Cruz’s speech as I have to see how bad it was.

From what I have heard, his speech was GOOD. It wasn't what he said, it was what he didn't say (during the last two minutes). It was that he didn't 'endorse' Trump officially.

I don't know if he said why or not, so surely somewhere there is a link to the speech. Matter of fact, I saw a link earlier in the thread, you might look there.
