Shannen Doherty has a brand new look. And it's brave and beautiful.
The actress, who has been battling cancer, is now sporting a closely-cropped 'do presumably inspired by her ongoing treatments to fight the disease. Doherty, 45, documented the makeover on Instagram (posted below) on Tuesday night in a series of photos showing the stages from cutting to shaving her hair while surrounded by her mother, Rosa, and friend Anne Kortright-Shilstat.

I’m sorry to hear that she is sick.
That sucks. Beautiful girl.
Friend????
a Republican, if I remember right
Led the Pledge of Allegiance at the 1992 Republican Convention.
Dang.
A bridge that many fighting cancer have to cross.
My 83 year old mother battled cancer when she was 81. Her hair, which was thin her whole life, came back thick and wavy with a beautiful silver color. And she is doing great after completing chemo.
Yeah she’s married...
Prayers
Prayers for her.
When I had cancer in 2013 I had my head shaved because it was falling out in clumps. I wore the scarves and hats like everyone else. Then one day as I was looking at my fuzz I thought I looked kinda cute so I went to church with my fuzz. I got so used to it, I have it short to this day. So you never know, she might like her “new do”
Yes, probably just a friend. Republican Doherty has had 3 short marriages to men throughout her life.

my mother battled cancer at age 81 also...did not survive it, died a month prior to her 83rd birthday...
"Ultimately, they're just breasts right?" she said. "I mean, I love them, they're mine, they're beautiful, but in the grand scheme of things, I would rather be alive and I would rather grow old with my husband [Kurt Iswarienko]."
Prayers for her.
Yes, “friend”. The article clearly mentioned she is married to a man, Kurt Iswarienka.
Best of luck to her, R or D, we should have set politics aside when anyone is battling this terrible disease.
Haven’t really followed her career, but hope she beats this thing and enjoys a long & happy life.
