Activists marched illegally down streets, fought with one another and defied a downtown tennis ball ban Tuesday during the second day of the Republican National Convention. But as the excitement unfolded, some activist leaders wondered where the crowds were.
Cleveland has seen far smaller protests than those at other recent conventions, despite the nomination of Donald Trump eliciting a rage from progressives that rivals or exceeds their hatred of former President George W. Bush. In a further distinction, it has also seen very few activism-related arrests.

Obama/Clinton/Soros have shut down “their” protester nutcase, lunatics...for the panic fear that these morons would only make DJT stronger!!! Plus...I really believe the the police authorities in charge of crowd control will not tolerate violence and property destruction. Of course...IMHO...there will be little fanfare of protests at the DNC next week in Philadelphia...mainly because, there will be relatively few people watching!!!
Open carry and Bikers for Trump and only a couple dozen protesters showed up. Good!
Maybe they read the call up notices for “Angels”.
Most of them got slapped with the reality of their lack of grasp on reality and are nursing hangovers.
Hilarious... racists spent time time fighting each other.
Normal Americans were left well enough alone so far this week.
It's one thing to assault and harass a peaceful gathering of people, to riot and “pillage” an area with police who generally will stand by and watch, as we've seen several times this year.
It's another thing to actually know that the people you want to attack and harass are armed and legally allowed to defend themselves, especially when those who are open carrying have seen what “protesters” have done in the recent past.
“Actor Billy Baldwin marched down Euclid Avenue with some protesters. He said he supports police and Black Lives Matter.”
That’s like saying you support the Cubs and the White Sox :S
Look, Ill say this: Its not a good thing people arent here in a bigger force when an openly fascistic candidate is being nominated,
See? You are in the wrong city and a week too early...that will happen next week in Philly...See ya there!!!
The recent Black Lies Matter “Days of Rage” where they were going to disrupt 37 cities, fizzled like a damp firecracker. Only small demonstrations, mainly by brainless white people, were seen in a few of the cities.
After San Jose all the riots and most of the inside disruptors disappeared from Trump rallies.
It appears that large scale rioting and “demonstrations” has been replaced by the unhinged cop killers. It’s probably cheaper for Soros to pay demented people to kill cops than it does to pay thousands of rioters.
They will attack Thursday night, to steal the limelight away from Trump.
Hahahaha. I watched who real do breathlessly following protestors the other day. Subtracting all the camera crews and those taking cellphone videos and selfies, I’d estimate the actual ‘crowd” to be less than 100. And the Westboro idiots, the kkk idiots and BLM idiots all throwing pee on one another makes me laugh. Where’s that footage?
That should have read whore-aldo (Geraldo)
That's what I was thinking.
At work???
HAHAHAHHAHA I know I know. I kill myself...
The Soros peeps told them to tone it down so as not to help the Law and Order candidate Trump. They remember 1968.
Good points.
How appropriate...staging a fart-in to show support for...the old fart.
"...Fizzled like a damp firecracker...and...cheaper for Soros to finance unhinged..."
Couldn’t happen to a better bunch of folks... convention attendees should have filled up some jugs and sent them over for those three groups of nutjobs and keep them busy all week.
Usually the Democrats pay to get their protesters out...
