You're fired! Trump to purge federal government of Obama henchmen with aid of new law making it easier to ax civil servants
Chris Christie, the New Jersey governor heading shadow transition team, reveal plan for law change to clear out Obama's appointees 'As you know from his other career, Donald like to fire people,' Christie said in closed-door meeting with donors Campaign is drawing up list of federal employees it wants fired if Trump wins the election Christie said law change is needed because Obama could make his appointees proper civil servants who are more difficult to ax Move would be an attempt by Democrats to embed liberal ideas and practices on government after party is booted from White House If he wins the presidency, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump would seek to purge the federal government of officials appointed by Democratic President Barack Obama and could ask Congress to pass legislation making it easier to fire public workers, Trump ally, Chris Christie, said on Tuesday.
Christie, who is governor of New Jersey and leads Trump's White House transition team, said the campaign was drawing up a list of federal government employees to fire if Trump defeats Democratic rival Hillary Clinton in the Nov. 8 presidential election.
'As you know from his other career, Donald likes to fire people,' Christie told a closed-door meeting with dozens of donors at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, according to an audio recording obtained by Reuters and two participants in the meeting.

Start with the VA bureaucrats.
They are organized crime.
The tentacles of the leftover obiebots and even clintonbots are far and wide and deep. Kinda like moles buried deep in various positions across a lot of agencies. It would be awesome if they could be ferreted out but I don’t think 4 years is enough time. And, lucky us, we get to pay their salaries.
Sounds good to me. So many to fire, so little time.
They will never get anywhere near a complete list.
The Clintons figured out how to do it—create reorganizations in every department and then make every manager apply for the jobs if they want to stay in their agency. Then the resumes can be examined one at a time.
Head em up.
Move em out.
Rawhide !
There are many who need firing. Particularly in the various bureaucratic departments. The DOJ needs a thorough cleansing including the janitors. State Dept is desperate for a purge. Current flag officers are Obama appointments; they’re PC agenda agents.
And start appointing constitutional judges for Fed benches with utmost haste.
There will be a massive house cleaning.
1- I’ll never understand why Bush didn’t do this.
2- It is a vital thing to do, but idiotic to advertise at this stage.
They’ll never get the Republicans in Congress to even pass the legislation in the first place.
Agreed. It is essential that henchmen judges be included in the purge of those who work to destroy the Constitution.
Then the Education Dept. It belongs at a local/state level.
All Federal parks should be made State parks.
They do this in the corporate world...when they reorg and want to lower salaries or get rid of people...you reapply for the position you’ve held.
Whole agencies/departments need to be axed!
“Go ax your mom.”
I’VE WORKED FOR GOVERNMENT AGENCIES
YOU COULD EASILY FIRE HALF OF THEM
Who here works for a govt office and disagrees?
IIRC, Bush did or tried to when he put everyone under the umbrella of Homeland Security. I think he got nailed on it because so many were union.
Not something to telegraph... just do it!
GO TRUMP!!
Scrub the IRS with AJAX and terminate every POS that had anything to do with targeting and tax return leakage. Make every management level worker take and pass a lie detector test. Have you paid all your Federal taxes? Have you used any banned substances in the past 90 days? Have you used your Government computer for personal reasons? Have you charged any personal expenses to you Government credit card?
They probably should have kept this plan under their hat until January.
Why give the opposition additional time to try to stop it?
