Sorry if I was too general for you, Tonto.
The tenor on FR was that Cruz was the guy we needed and Lee was right in there with sleeves rolled up for conservatism.
Just pointing out that "we" have been fooled a time or two - I remember way back when "we" were fawning all over Rubio as a Conservative Latino - until he wasn't. Same thing happened with Cruz only in spades and Lee became another one of "our" heroes.
The veneer has rubbed off a couple of the latest hopefuls to expose the GOPe in them. Heck - it wasn't all that long ago that some were starting to think Rand Paul was starting to see the light and might be an ally.
Seems like most who take umbrage with an set of truths also seem to be the ones who leave no trail of monetary support for FR or a candidate - take your complaints up with them.......

I have never witnessed a republican politician commit presidential suicide until this year. The last time I saw this happen was during the 1980 campaign, when Roger Mudd asked Ted Kennedy "Senator, why do you want to be President?".
