Ecclesiastes 1:9: "There is nothing new under the sun."
Well, that goes for the content of most political speeches, too.
By now you may have seen the day's leading headline -- the one that posits Melania Trump's speech Monday evening at the Republican National Convention was "plagiarized" from a speech made in August 2008 by Michelle Obama at the Democratic National Convention.
To begin, some of the most bias headlines lead one to believe that Mrs. Trump plagiarized her entire speech. This is false.
The truth, rather, is that two portions of Mrs. Trump's speech are being called into question for their striking similarities to Mrs. Obama's speech eight years prior.
The similar portions were made early on in Mrs. Trump's speech and concern the values instilled in her by her parents as a young child growing up in Slovenia. Below are the two women's speech excerpts for comparison:

Don’t fire me, bro!
On DirectV Channel 347 is the RNC feed— no mindless babble by talking heads.
Good question. I think Moochelle’s speech would have to be copy writed before it could be plagiarized. Besides, who would want to echo anything she said?
Exactly. I am so tired of trying to show proof of what the democrats have done such as Joe Biden and others. Nooo....they think because Melania copied Moochelle who supposed copied from Alinksy now people think Trumps are Alinsky fans! I am so steamed right now.
Something smells here
again I am going to plagiarize myself ...
**** “I look at it as an opportunity ...
Every Speaker scheduled from now on should say and quote the supposed pilfered words Melania spoke last night and then Donald should as well and then follow it up with ...
Comparing who has said what and who has done what... who has a history of following through and who just utters words.” *****
Just an idea

Liberal talking heads sound like they have mental problems.
How can they argue with keeping the country safe? Sounds like they do not know what to say, so they come up with something that doesn’t mean much to anyone. They do not look or sound sincere. You can see it in their eyes.
Did the media walk into a Trump mouse trap?
The MSM can’t refer to the issues so wonderfully covered last night so they divert to this nothing to avert their gaze. They don’t want to report that 3000 people were chanting
“SEND HER TO JAIL” It was a wonderful first night. Millions watched!!!
Here in the Hartford, CT area have an excellent morning conservative talk radio host named Jim Vicevich. A caller on today's Vicevich show said Michelle Obama's speech -- particularly the phrase "your word is your bond..." -- was directly lifted from the 2002 Denzel Washington movie "John Q".
I don't know if this is anything "important", but I thought I'd throw it out there. If anyone thinks this is significant, feel free to send it to the media.
I loved Melania's speech overall, especially when she said "being an Ameican citizen is the greatest privilege in the world!"
We KNOW Moochelle never uttered those words...

The Obamas steal ideas from Saul Alinsky, Goebbels, Stalin, and Satan daily and nobody makes a fuss...
I got a “page not found” when I clicked on the link just now...
It’s still there; different location:
I can’t believe all the bandwidth we’re burning on this ridiculous non-story. If that’s all the democrats have to talk about, they are screwed.
Its still there; different location:
