Loved the speeches yesterday especially the soon to be 1st Lady’s,along with America’s Mayor and Sheriff Clark’s (Joe Arpio may have a challenger for America’s Toughest Sheriff).

The media makes me ill. It’s not just the constant playing of Melania vs. Michelle’s little speech snippets this morning on CNN and MSNBC. What bothers me almost as much is the hard-left media talking heads (on TV and online) claiming that the convention was a disaster last night, focused only on anger, resentment, and hatred. There was no hatred or resentment on display, and the anger was a completely justified righteous anger.
That was one of the best nights of a convention I’ve seen. Finally, average Americans and what they’ve done or suffered matters. Finally, someone was willing to give them a voice, even when their stories are true but politically incorrect. The elites of both parties and the press victimize regular Americans over and over, and no one cares—except for Trump and the people with him. Even long-term politicians like Rudy were lifted up to a new level of intensity and frank honesty in this atmosphere.
This was a populist convention—not in some lefty Huey Long sense, but in the truest sense that it came from regular folks (including some down-to-earth politicians) and was about their interests and safety for once. This wasn’t soft and mamby-pamby in the usual GOP way either. Trump has already proven he will actually fight on our behalf.

You are so right! We’d been watching on DirecTV 347 — full screen, clean, no interruptions or commentaries. DH turned to Fox while Gen. Flynn was speaking. Banners, crawls, and logos filled up 1/3 of the screen. Then they cut away during Flynn’s speech so Megyn Kelly could bring out her ridiculous, insipid panel.
Jeff Sessions speech has been so far ignored by Fox News. Like it didn’t happen.
