Melania Trump’s highly anticipated speech at the Republican National Convention Monday night appears to have nearly copied a paragraph from Michelle Obama’s speech at the 2008 Democratic National Convention.

These are common ideas and ideals. This does not bother me much, if at all, mainly because Melania never said she was ashamed of the country a la Michelle.
She didn’t lie. She said she wrote it with “as little help as possible.” That’s a lot of wiggle room, imo.
Melanie also copied wearing two shoes, a right and a left. Just like Michelle!
Funny. I’m embarrassed by some of us too. You don’t defend everything blindly as if your side can do no wrong. This was clear plagiarism and we need to face it. A head needs to roll.

Sure a video would later show some omission but the MSM could ignore that easily enough.

Yeah, something very weird about this. Wonder if the dems got a ringer speechwriter in there to stiff this paragraph in to make Trump’s wife look bad. Not a chance Trump’s wife did this. Here’s the twitter feed or whatever they call it of the supposed “discoverer.” Remarkable that he would remember these rather unmemorable lines from 8 years ago, while he happened to be tweeting away ripping Trump. Hmm.
